A recent bride called her mother one evening in tears.
"Oh, Mom, I tried to make Grandmother's meat loaf for
dinner tonight, and it's just awful! I followed the
recipe exactly, and I know I have the recipe right because
it's the one you gave me. But it just didn't come out
right, and I'm so upset. I wanted this to be so special
for George because he loves meat loaf. What could have
gone wrong?"
Her mother replied soothingly, "Well, dear, let's go
through the recipe. You read it out loud and tell me
exactly what you did at each step, and together we'll
figure it out."
"OK," the bride sniffled. "Well, it starts out, 'Take
fifty cents worth of ground beef' ..."
Wow! I guess Grandma wrote that recipe down a few
years ago. Fifty cents worth of ground beef today,
doesn't go very far.
But there goes the problem of a lot of folk. The joke, like
all jokes, carries within it the seeds of truth.
We all must change with the times. We must all determine
where we are and what are the circumstances each day,
in each act, with every decision.
You may find the decisions you made in the past
have had that kind of effect that you must now rethink
the decision you are contemplating.
Every day things change. Those who do things the same
old way can often end up in trouble because of it.
Companies have been known to fail because of the
attitude "if it was good enough for grandpa to do it that
way, it's good enough for us to do it that way."
One of man's never ending searches, foolishly, is for
security. He thinks he finds it when he finally establishes
a habit that works for him. He gets comfortable, He makes
no changes, even to keep updated with the changes that
are going on around him. His patterns of behavior set the
scene for his downfall, unless he changes with the times.
Man has to learn that his security IS change. That as he
keeps himself attentive to what is going on he also
automatically changes to meet the new situation. It is
that change that not only gives him excitement, but
keeps him full of life.
The person who can relax, accept change, and is
prepared to change themselves to meet the new day, is
that person who has a long and glorious life. They are
the ones who are healthy, happy and prosperous. Try it.
Make no assumptions that today is like yesterday. It isn't.
Be ready for change. Anticipate change. Embrace change.

action to protect your system from a virus, follow the
virus software's recommendations. Delete the original
email, then send your friend an email and let them know
that they have a virus on their system. This helps avoid

When women pass their water, they sit down, the stream goes
into the bowl: little touches their bodies. They also then wipe
themselves off, and wash their hands. When (most) men pass
their water, they stand up, the stream goes almost all into the
bowl, but never wipe the salts found naturally in the urine. As
well, their body secretes a whitish fluid naturally. This plus the
salts build up under the foreskin. I know we teach kids to pull
the foreskin back if they are not circumcised, but many don't.
This may cause problems in later life. It may be that he now
needs to lubricate it with a cream after a bath or shower. Just
as other parts of the body respond really well and quickly to
this action/lubrication, his foreskin will become softer and
looser and less fragile. That is the nature of the treatment. A
Vitamin E cream used for hands and body would be excellent.
The foreskin needs to be pulled back gently and slowly. This
may take a bit of effort until the lubrication has taken affect.
This healing process, if done consistently, will take just a few
days. But it would be a good idea to repeat this periodically.
This cleaning routine should be done daily in bath or shower.
There is an odour build-up if it's not done. Nancy, I hope this
helps. I am going to use a part of this in my health column.

this could be normal and the information would be
helpful to others.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

The journey home was much easier than the journey
up river. They lazily drifted along with the current and
enjoyed the scenery. It was a fitting end to an enjoyable
day.
Bob Hunter was still smarting a little from all the
conversations this day. He was going through changes
in his basic belief system that were hard for him. His
accepted system was fighting him all the way and it
was this that caused him to fight and object to what
was happening. Nonetheless, he was slowly succumbing
to what he was seeing and going through.
It was clear to those who lived by higher law, what was
happening. They understood Bob's dilemma. That is why
they saw no cause to anger. He was going through mental
and emotional gymnastics that were wreaking havoc with
him on the inside.
Suddenly the skies opened up and a torrential downpour
hit them hard.
David caused a roof to be up over the passengers, so they
wouldn't get wet. He noticed the other canoe did likewise.
He could have caused the storm to rain everywhere but
on them, but then his guests would not see what a tropical
rainstorm would be like. It beat down furiously.
David and Boolong dug in with the paddles. If it was going
to be this wet they best get home quickly.
Dig, dig, dig, went their strokes. Oops! Boolong's wet and
inexperienced hands let the paddle slip out of them. It fell
in the water. He lunged for it but missed. His weight carried
him over the edge of the canoe and into the piranha
infested water.
The canoe was moving that fast it was half way passed
him before he grabbed the edge. He began to move
forward, slowly.
Pam and Lynn were yelling. It had scared them.
David hollered, "Boolong get in here quick!"
Boolong began to holler, kick, squirm and cry out!
David closed his eyes and concentrated. He stepped out
onto the water and over to Boolong. He grabbed Boolongs
hand and raised him to the water's surface. Boolong's legs
were bleeding where he had been bitten. Much of one leg
had been eaten right away.
David commanded him "Stand tall! Stand straight! Your
legs are well!"
With that, and in that instant, Boolongs legs became whole.
This all happened so fast it went like a flash.
Yet there were David and Boolong walking on the water.
David walked Boolong over to the canoe and he stepped in.
David manifested a paddle for him, and Boolong once
more settled in as if nothing had happened. David walked
back to the rear of the canoe and got in.
They both took up their paddles and once more took up
strong strokes.
This time Boolong made sure he hung on to his paddle.
The remainder of the journey was uneventful, but for the
rain. Just as they pulled in to shore, it quit, and the sun
came out full force. The humidity was so high the sun was
a welcome presence. Things dried off quickly.
Bob and Lynn Hunter had been silent, ever since the
incident, even sullen. They quietly got out of the canoe
and just as quietly walked with Pam and the kids, as David
and Boolong pulled the canoe up on shore.
"You okay?" David looked at Boolong.
"Yes, thank you for saving me. That was foolish of me. I
would have been dead." answered Boolong.
"Never mind. I'll bet it won't happen again." David laughed.
Boolanga, Karmuz, Eloise and Mazunta came over, as
did Mae. All were concerned about Boolong. They had
all seen the incident. They each knew what had happened
and how it was resolved. They were all glad to see
Boolong was alright.
"Did you see what I saw?" asked Bob Hunter of his
wife Lynn.
"Ye - ye - yes, I think so. Did I see David and Boolong
walk on water?" she replied.
