How does the car steer on water?
In the water, the front wheels act as rudders. The
Amphicar moves in the water by twin nylon propellers. A
special two-part land-and-water transmission built by
Hermes (makers of the Porsche transmission) permit the
wheels and propellers to be operated either independently
or simultaneously.
How do the doors on an Amphicar seal to keep water out?
The Amphicar had two rubber strips that work like the
seal on a refrigerator.
What kinds of water can the Amphicar cross?
Well, the original 1965 British press release (available on
David Chapman's site, mentioned below) showed the car
crossing the English Channel. According to Chapman,
the Amphicar "is capable of some serious sea crossings,
i.e. Africa to Spain, San Diego to Catalina Island and
England to France (3 times, once in a force 6 gale)."

In any circumstance you can be the one to spread light. It
comes from your decision within. You choose what you show to
the world, don't you? You also choose what you reflect. You
are powerful.
A while ago, I spent a wonderful afternoon with a new friend
who lives part of each year in India. As I showed him my
photos of India, I remembered the wonder I felt when I was in
the large fort outside Jaipur. This palace has a bed chamber
which was decorated for the master of the house. The tour
guide had us come into that room and close the doors. He
lighted a candle, just one candle, and the room was filled
with light. How? The room had thousands of tiny mirrors
embedded in the plaster. What a demonstration of reflected
light!
The well-known author, Edith Wharton, who seemingly knew all
about this wrote, "There are two ways of spreading light; to
be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." Both are
valuable and needed. In many cases you must make a choice
between two attractive alternatives. Today you need not choose
between them. You can do both. You can be a light, AND, you
can reflect the light you see in others--the goodness, the
beauty, the growth, the love--all that is positive! Celebrate
it!
Keep beautiful candles around you. Have a special one where
you sit to think, meditate or pray. Each time you light it let
it be a reminder of your desire to keep your own light shining
and your mirror reflecting all that is beautiful to you every
day. Choose that candle now!

Thoughts on Iron Supplementation

Original question: I have had low iron count for some time.
I take iron supplements and that seems to help. When I stop
taking them my count goes down again. I eat well, I do
tend to get some soft motions and am tending to go to the
loo (bathroom) in a hurry. When my iron is down, I'm very
tired, no energy, I feel cold, then sometimes hot. What is
the cause of low blood iron. It went down quite a lot over
the past five months. It returned to normal, then recently it
went down again. I am going to see a specialist for him to
look in my stomach and bowel.

from my medical resources when I asked pretty much the
same question. I too had that problem until I fixed it, using
their suggestions. Do let me know if I can help you with

I really debated whether on not to include these references,
but decided to do so. They make very interesting reading
and can give good insight into the possible deficiency.
Iron Technical Background. Iron (Fe) is an essential nutrient
required for oxygen transport in the blood (via hemoglobin),
for storage and transport of oxygen in muscles (via myoglobin)
and for respiration and energy metabolism (via the
cytochrome system in mitochondria). Without iron, oxygen
exchange could not occur at the cellular level and tissue
death would result.

David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.

on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

"When you are ready I will explain to you how it works." said
David, "But for now just believe you did it." said David,
"Furthermore, there was nothing evil about it. It is a
perfectly natural thing to do."
"David, you are right. Ever since we came here we have
been fighting these things, and you and Pam, for that matter.
How is it you are able to do these things?" asked Bob.
"It is just as Jesus said, Bob, whatever things you ask, in your
mind, believing, it shall be done. When one believes and
understands that then you or any man, woman or child can
do it. The power of your mind can influence the underlying
spiritual structure of all things. When you walked on water,
it was because you believed it. You were in that frame of mind
that you were busy with dropping rocks and forgot completely
you were walking on water. The very instant you remembered,
your former belief system cut in and you began to sink. So long
as you believed then your mind was influencing the underlying
spiritual structure of the water, all automatically, and it was
able to support you. In this way you are able to manifest
anything you want. It is through understanding this that we
were able to travel as we did." David answered.
He went on, "It may be a while before you understand the
procedure fully. Yet that is all there is to it. You can control
your environment with your thoughts. The mind of man is
that powerful. That is what is meant in the bible where it says
we are created in the image of God. We have the same abilities.
When you become one, with God, then you, too, can do
all these things. For that you must find your Maker,
inside yourself."
"Y-y-you mean it is just as simple as thinking it so?" asked Bob.
"Yes."
Such curt answers were not what Bob was used to. There
can be no argument here. It wasn't "Yes, but . . ." or
"Yes and . . .". It was just yes.
Bob thought and pondered over this. One thing was
clear, he and Lynn had walked on water, had travelled
down here by higher law, has slept on that hard bed
and found it to be the most wonderful of sleeps. They
had witnessed Boolong lose his paddle. They had
witnessed Eloise manifesting food and beverages,
which they ate and drank. These many things had
happened all as a natural part of the everyday life of
these people.
Bob Hunter was willing to accept these things and no
longer fight with either his daughter or her husband. The
sheer weight and preponderance of acts and evidence
plainly wore him down. He saw so much he could no
longer deny.
While he may not attempt to do these things himself,
Bob Hunter, once and for all finally made a pact with
himself. He would accept these things as normal and
based on the laws of the universe. He would no longer
fight what he saw, or, for that matter, ended up doing himself,
like walking on water.
When he made that decision he felt a great sense of relief.
It was as if the weight of the world had been removed from
his shoulders. He felt relaxed, loved, and at peace for the
first time in many, many years.
That night after the community fire, he told Lynn of his
decision. He told her how he felt relieved and how he
felt so much better.
"I thought you had come to some kind of conclusion. You
were not like your usual argumentative self tonight. In fact,
dear," Lynn said lovingly, "you were positively loving, kind
and nice to be around tonight. It put me in mind of the man
I fell in love with so long ago."
That was a surprise to Bob. It never occurred to him he had
been a renegade and a tyrant all these years. He put his
arms around his wife and hugged her.
The next day was wet and rainy. In fact it poured hard
and steady all the day that Bob and Lynn saw of it. The
day appeared to them to be dismal and they thought it
a good time to go home and consider all that had
happened.
David took them home, as they had come, after they
spent a long time with Pam and the children, saying
good bye. Each promised to stay in touch.
David showed Bob how to hold a picture of he and Pam
in his mind, and then call, within his mind. David would
hear it and answer. That way they could all remain in
communication.
When David saw them safely home in their own house
they were happy to be there.
David returned to the village.
