What's the origin of the Swiss army knife?
The Swiss Army knife dates back to 1886 when the
Swiss Army began to equip its soldiers with a regulation
single-blade folding knife. Three years later, the army
introduced a new rifle that required a screwdriver to
disassemble it. The military decided to create a
multi-purpose tool incorporating a knife, screwdriver,
can opener, and reamer. Voila - the Swiss Army knife!
The knives were initially made in Germany, but a
Swiss cutler soon established a knife manufacturing
plant capable of mass-producing the knives.
What is the vernal equinox?
"Equinox" is Latin for "equal night." Twice a year, in

What About The Part Timers?

The last two weeks I've been taking it easy.
Taking a break gave me time to think.
I kept wondering, why is everyone scrambling to
market to the same prospects?
No wonder newbies experience information overload.
They're being hit with the same programs day after day.
Everyone is telling them how to make fantastic sums of
money.
Many marketers do make those big profits, but who's
marketing to the individual who only needs a little
extra money each month?
Think about it.
There are millions of individuals you could be marketing
to who aren't interested in building a big business.
They just need a little extra spending money.
There's a vast market out there. Very few Internet
marketers are even making an attempt to tap into it.
So what are some of these markets?
How about the seniors?
The senior market is the fastest growing segment of our
population. They've already paid their dues and they
may not be looking for a full time venture, but they
may need an extra $500 to supplement their checks.
They may not be interested in an offer to build an empire.
They may be interested in making a few hundred part time.
What about the college students?
They've already decided on a profession they're excited
about. They don't have time to put into a full time
business.
They may find making a couple of extra dollars with their
pc more appealing then working their way through school
with a minimum wage job.
What about the soccer moms?
Avon and Mary Kay have been tapping into this market for
years.
This is a huge market and you could tap into that segment
of the market that would like the extra money, but aren't
comfortable with direct selling.
Think about all the workers who have to work a second to
make ends meet.
They may not want to give up the security of a paycheck,
but they may be interested in supplementing their check.
The part time market is huge and very few are tapping
into it.
You could pick just one segment of this market to work
with and build your business virtually competition

Question and Answer
Original question:
Increased urination in a young adult.
I am 19 years old and I am writing because I am very
embarrassed. I have wet the bed twice in a month. I use
the bathroom every night before bed but I guess that's not
helping. As soon as I urinate I wake up but it is still embarrassing.
I have been very thirsty lately and have increased my fluid
intake to almost double of what I used to drink. I am now
using the bathroom between 7-10 times a day where as
it used to be 4-7. I am very upset about this. If you could
please get back to me as soon as possible I would be
very grateful. Thanks again.
Hi Heather! Please don't be embarrassed. This is not
normal and it needs to be explored. It might be helpful
for you to decrease fluids after dinner. It would be very
helpful for you to document what you eat and drink all
day. Perhaps there are some foods that are more "helpful"
than others. So it needs looking at now! Please get some
blood work done and get checked out for conditions such
as Diabetes. Also please consider avoiding things like
diet drinks. If you don't have medical insurance, please
ask someone to help you pay for it. This is very important
to get checked out... it's no fun thing to have: it needs to
be looked at. One thing you can do today for tonight, is
to get a package of "incontinence pads" which are easily
available from pharmacies. These will prevent you
from having to change the entire bed. When applied
properly, they are not visible or embarrassing.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

The men agreed, and were on their way. They didn't
much need the churches money today, because they had
far more than the church had offered them, from the loot
they stole off the kids.
Nonetheless they would carry on because they wanted
the churches money, too. They proceeded to get drunk
and throw their money around. Little known to them there
was a lone, silent figure sitting at a table in the corner of
the bar, where they were celebrating. He was watching
them buy several drinks for the house and take on drink
after drink for the evening. He said nothing to anyone.
He just watched.
By the time the night was out, so were the two drunks. They
had drunk their fill and the bartender literally had to drag
them out onto the sidewalk, where he unceremoniously
dumped them. There they stayed until the sun woke them
in the early hours of the day.
Meanwhile, in the church basement, the Bishop was putting
his plan to work. He had not untied the kids yet. They were
left there in the dark, alone from twelve noon, when they
arrived, until eight at night when he first went down to bang
doors, etc.
He did nothing else. He didn't even look into the rooms
to see what they were doing. He only wanted to scare
them, wake them. Having done that he left, thinking he
would have two more tomorrow, then his plan would get
under way.
Little did he know Riata was very well aware of his plan,
his actions and all he and the Cardinal were up to.
Riata had come to the kids in the locked rooms the moment
the Bishop had left to go talk to the men outside. She had
removed their hoods, tended their wounds and untied them.
Then she placed them both in the same room and the
three of them talked. They came up with a counter plan.
It was decided by the kids they would stay there, in the
dark and dingy basement. However they would not stay
in the rooms they had been locked into. The doors presently
remained locked.
Riata could and did, easily, remove them from their
locked rooms. The kids decided to go into another
unlocked room, keep one another company, and await
any other kids that might arrive.
Riata told them they were in the second level basement
of the church. She told them of the plan the Bishop and
the Cardinal had to try to take over the shrine and all the
money the kids were bringing in.
The kids understood in a flash. They suspected something
like this, when they were hooded and brought here.
However, they didn't quite know where "here" was. Now
Riata told them the whole scheme made perfect sense.
Riata was going to stay with them, to keep them company.
They were in perfect comfort and decided to sleep until
the next incident happened.
Around three in the morning, when the rest of the city was
asleep, the Bishop had set an alarm. He wanted to come
down to the basement and once more bang doors and
steel to create a noise to disorient the kids.
The kids, of course, heard it. They had all they could
handle to keep from laughing out loud They knew the
Bishop had no idea what was happening.
The night fell silent once more.
Along with Riata the kids laughed and snickered at what
was happening. That Bishop was going to a lot of trouble
to scare the wits out of the kids, and the kids were in perfect
safety watching him. They got a real thrill out of the game,
as kids are wont to do.
Later that morning the same thing happened. Only this time
the Bishop opened the locked doors to the rooms to see
what was happening with the kids. He was going to start
working on them this morning, training them to do as he
wanted. He had brought some food with him.
He unlocked the first door and shone a light in. There was
no one there. He looked closer. The only thing that was
there was the hood that had been over the child's head.
He looked at the door. It had remained locked. He had to
unlock it to get in. He shone the light under the bed, and in
every corner of the room.
The Bishop ran out of the room and to the next. He unlocked
it. It was empty, too. The only think that remained to tell him
someone had been there was the hood that had been over
this child's head. Again he looked everywhere. He panicked.

Abbott: That's great Lou. What did you get?
Costello: A Pentium III, with 128 Megs of RAM, a
12.1 Gig hard drive, and a 48X CD-ROM.
Abbott: That's terrific, Lou
Costello: But I don't know what any of it means!!
Abbott: You will in time.
Costello: That's exactly why I am here to see you.
Abbott: Oh?
Costello: I heard that you are a real computer expert.
Abbott: Well, I don't know-
Costello: Yes-sir-ee. You know your stuff. And you're
going to train me.
Abbott: Really?
Costello: Uh huh. And I am here for my first lesson.
Abbott: O.K. Lou. What do want to know?
Costello: I am having no problem turning it on, but I
heard that you should be very careful how you turn it off.
Abbott: That's true.
Costello: So, here I am working on my new computer
and I want to turn it off. What do I do?
Abbott: Well, first you press the Start button, and then-
Costello: No, I told you, I want to turn it off.
Abbott: I know, you press the Start button-
Costello: Wait a second. I want to turn it off. Off. I know
how to start it. So tell me what to do.
Abbott: I did.
Costello: When?
Abbott: When I told you to press the Start button.
Costello: Why should I press the Start button?
Abbott: To shut off the computer.
Costello: I press Start to stop.
Abbott: Well Start doesn't actually stop the computer.
Costello: I knew it! So what do I press?
Abbott: Start
Costello: Start what?
Abbott: Start button.
Costello: Start button to do what?
Abbott: Shut down.
Costello: You don't have to get rude!
Abbott: No, no, no! That's not what I meant.
Costello: Then say what you mean.
Abbott: To shut down the computer, press-
Costello: Don't say, "Start!"
Abbott: Then what do you want me to say?
Costello: Look, if I want to turn off the computer, I
am willing to press the Stop button, the End button
and Cease and Desist button, but no one in their
right mind presses the Start to Stop.
Abbott: But that's what you do.
Costello: And you probably Go at Stop signs, and
Stop at green lights.
Abbott: Don't be ridiculous.
Costello: I'M being ridiculous? Well, I think it's about
time we started this conversation.
Abbott: What are you talking about?
Costello: I am starting this conversation
