Is it true that armadillos can delay the birth of
their young?
When humans get pregnant, they generally carry the
baby 40 weeks and then, ready or not, here baby comes!
But armadillos apparently can delay the due date. Some
female armadillos captured for research have given birth
to babies up to almost two years after being captured (and
without male contact in that period). Normal gestation is
much shorter. The female can delay implantation of the
fertilized egg during times of stress. Nice trick!
Why are so many armadillos found dead on roads?
The poor armadillo is not adapted for modern technology.
In fact, one of its main tricks for escaping predators can
cause it to become roadkill. When an armadillo is threatened,
it jumps straight into the air. This might work to startle a
predator, but when a car is approaching, it's a bad thing.
Armadillos are actually small enough for cars to safely
travel over them (as long as they don't hit the tires). But
the armadillo jumps up when the car approaches, and
well, that's the end of the armadillo.

Do You See It Right?

An acquaintance of mine, whose daughter was about
to be married, decided to give her a diamond ring that
had been in the family for several generations. The
stone had never been appraised, so the father asked
a gemologist friend if she would take a look at it. She
agreed, but said that, instead of a fee she would accept
lunch at one of Houston's finer restaurants.
A few days later, as he and the gem expert sat sipping
a glass of Chablis, he showed her the ring. She took
out her jeweler's loupe, examined the diamond carefully
and handed it back.
"Wow," said a diner who had been watching from
the next table. "These Texas women are tough!"
Well, maybe Texas women are tough, but the point is
the diner got it wrong.
Do you ever do that? You know, see something and
immediately pass judgment, the wrong one?
How many times does a driver pass you doing much
greater speed than you, and you are already breaking
the speed limit? Do you curse them? Does it anger you?
What would your thoughts be if you suddenly knew that
driver just heard his little girl had been in a life threatening
accident and was in the hospital, to which he was driving?
Would that change your mind a bit?
Too often we are quick to leap to conclusions when we
do not really know the circumstances. How much better
would it be for the diner to see the diamond passed to the
gemologist, see her take a look at it, them pass it back
to the owner? He did not have to embellish it. All he
needed to do was to accept only what he saw, realizing
he had no clue what was going on.
In my early years in internet marketing I used to be worried
when someone unsubscribed from what I was offering.
Today I realize there is no way I can know what is going
on in that person's life, so I am now happy to accommodate
and they receive my blessings as well.
I used to think that an ad was wrong when it didn't bring
results. Today I know there are a hundred reasons why a
particular ad didn't work and it may have nothing to do
with the way it was written. It could be time of year. It could
be audience. It could be there is plainly and simply too
much in the way of outside competition. For example you
might sell lots of product going up to Thanksgiving, but it
is a lead pipe cinch sales will drop on Thanksgiving Day.
What is important here is that one realizes how critical to
one's future it is to analyze accurately. Do not pass judgment
on anything you see. Merely see it and accept it. Plan your
future plans based on what you see, not on the judgment
you have made from what you see.
Until or unless you have all the details, know everything
that is behind certain events, leap not to conclusions.

these steps:
Choose Tools, AutoCorrect on the menu bar to open the
AutoCorrect dialog box.
Now, enter the typo or abbreviation in the Replace text box.
Then, enter the correction in the With text box.
Click the Add button or press Enter to add the new typo
or abbreviation to the AutoCorrect list.
Now. Click the OK.

Original question:
I recently took Zithromax to clear a diagnosis of Chylmedia.
A little over a month ago I had surgery on my ankle and
had two stainless screws put into my bone. I've heard that
with certain antibiotics, the medicine will think of the
screws as a foreign object and just go to that area and
cause infection. Should I be worried? Will the Zithromax
do the job and clear the chylmedia? I'm also on Vicaden
for the pain. Any effects to the medicine? I'm also having
my wisdom teeth taken out on July 10th. Will this affect
the job of the Zithromax if I took it on July 1st? My parents
don't know and I can not discuss this issue in front of
them. Thank you so much for your time in

made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.

He was excited. He wrote until the bar closed. Then he took
the men outside and continued the talk. By the time his night
drew to a close he had compiled quite a story complete with
names, addresses and methods of contacting all the principles
in his story.
Now he had to plan how he was going to sell the story. He
knew the downtown newspaper would not immediately believe
him. This was an extremely serious accusation, as far as the
newspaper was concerned.
Within a couple days, he had his plan. He began to implement
it and got the news out.
While all this was going on both the Bishop and the Cardinal
were worried about what was going to happen next. Sitting
in the Cardinal's office one night, drinking, they were discussing
the complete and utter failure of their plan.
"How could that happen? How could those kids get out? How
could they have more power than us? How could they even
keep away some of the other men in the church?" asked
the Bishop.
"I don't know. What I do know is this is the last time we are
going to try anything with the orphanage and shrine. Every
time we have tried something there it has not only failed
miserably but it has placed us and our careers in jeopardy.
No more. Leave it alone." said the Cardinal.
"I just don't understand. Those rooms were used in the last
century to hold prisoners. Those who did not convert to
Catholicism we used to burn at the stake. Until the day we
did that, those rooms were used to house hundreds of prisoners
awaiting their turn at the stake. No one ever got out of those
rooms, ever. How can these kids do it?" the Bishop went on,
almost just doing his thinking out loud.
"We don't know. Get it? We don't know. All we do know is
strange things happen, over which we have no control,
whenever we do anything about or toward the orphanage.
We have experienced it before. That is how my predecessor
died, don't you remember, there wasn't even a trace of his
body anywhere? No, we best get on with the business of
the church and leave that orphanage alone. Who knows
we might have our hands full with the church business
anyway." the Cardinal responded, not realizing how
prophetic he was.
Across town, Riata was having lunch with her family. Her
father had come home for his lunch today. He did that about
once a week, just to share his noon time with the family.
Oomano had been busy with the kids. She had nearly all
of them on the brink of mastership. Children accept so
willingly, what adults contest vehemently.
"The town is buzzing with news today." said Miguele, "The
four kids who were kidnapped from the orphanage are back
and there are men claiming they did the deed for the church.
That's the talk. But the newspaper also printed a story about
the kidnapping and how the kidnappers took the kids to the
back of the church and the Bishop, himself, took the kids. Then
he came back and paid the men two hundred US dollars. The
church is denying it but the newspaper says it has eye
witnesses. This one is going to be a dirty one, at least that's
the way it looks."
"Daddy, the church has been misleading the people for so
long and doing such murderous and nasty deeds, it is about
time they were exposed for what they are. I did nothing but
release the kids. This story is coming from the men who did
the job for the church, and yes, the church, in fact both the
Bishop and the Cardinal, caused the deed to occur. First they
caused me to be shot, and now they, again, want to take over
the orphanage. What they really want is the money the shrine
brings in. Now, I see the church as losing all their parishioners
and I see them going to the shrine. The churches problems
haven't even begun to be felt yet." said Riata.
Abetta, Riata's Mother, and still having that teaching of the
church within her said, "You best not be fooling with the
church, Riata."
"I promise Mother. All I did was release the kids. The rest
is happening by law. You know the law, Mom, the one
that says 'As ye sow, then so shall ye reap.'?"
"I do. That is good. I want no one pointing fingers at this
family." said Abetta.
"Don't worry Mother." said Miguele, "The girls will not
do anything beyond what their Maker wants. You
know that."
"Yes, Miguele. I know that." she responded.
The church was now in the midst of a fight for it's life.
The newspaper had published pictures of the two men
who were the kidnappers. The following day they
published the picture of a man who said he was asked
by the Bishop to kill the two kidnappers to shut them up.
