Don't Mistake Activity For Achievement

I remember watching an NBA Basketball Game on t.v one
night. The Miami Heat were playing the New Orleans Hornets.
Miami was all over them yet when you looked at the score
New Orleans kept pulling ahead.
Bill Walton made the comment "Don't mistake activity for
achievement." I'll always remember that. Just because Miami
was playing hard didn't mean they were playing smart.
This can apply to our everyday lives and more directly to
our internet marketing careers. As we all work hard to make
money online and make money at home you should ask yourself
this question everyday, "Is what I'm doing right now going
to help me make move my business forward?"
I am as guilty of this as anyone. I check my email over and
over clicking on the send/receive button looking for new
messages that say something like "Congratulations You Have
Made Another Sale."
It is so easy to constantly log into a program and check my
stats over and over. What's the point? If they do change it
isn't enough to even merit the time it takes to do it over
and over.
How about this one. Reading posts in forums until your eyes
are blurry. That's o.k if you are involved and making some
posts as well. You might as well get your link out there
and posting is a great way to learn something as well as do
that. But you have to post once in awhile too.
Here's the key to getting yourself past the activity mode
and into the achievement mode.
Write down 5 specific things you want to accomplish
everyday to help you make money on the internet. Here is an
example of this.
1. Make 5 new posts in forums
2. Trade links with 5 quality websites
3. Submit my article to 5 article websites
4. Place my ad in 5 free classified sites
5. Call 5 of my home business prospects
Now what is the key to these 5 things on my list? Well for
starters they are written down. Next it is an advertising
and marketing driven list.
If you aren't spending 80-90% of your time on advertising
and marketing your home business then you have no right to
complain when you aren't making any money. It is that
simple.
You have to write down action items for the day and the
majority of those action items have to be doing something
to advertise and market your business.
Every one of us has different amounts of time we can spend
everyday working to make money online. It isn't how much
time you spend, but how you spend it that will determine
your long term success.

Original question: I have had low iron count for some time.
I take iron supplements and that seems to help. When I stop
taking them my count goes down again. I eat well, I do
tend to get some soft motions and am tending to go to the
loo (bathroom) in a hurry. When my iron is down, I'm very
tired, no energy, I feel cold, then sometimes hot. What is
the cause of low blood iron. It went down quite a lot over
the past five months. It returned to normal, then recently it
went down again. I am going to see a specialist for him to
look in my stomach and bowel.

same question. I too had that problem until I fixed it, using

and can give good insight into the possible deficiency.
Iron Technical Background. Iron (Fe) is an essential nutrient
required for oxygen transport in the blood (via hemoglobin),
for storage and transport of oxygen in muscles (via myoglobin)
and for respiration and energy metabolism (via the
cytochrome system in mitochondria). Without iron, oxygen
exchange could not occur at the cellular level and tissue
death would result.

were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each

Ownership of material goods is a burden, a bondage
for one who lives by higher law. You do not have
to get rid of these things immediately but you do
have to take the attitude that you are 'renting'
them, that they are not yours to keep. You must
detach from them. The same is true of pride and
your ego. You can no longer seek benefits or
rewards because of who you are. You no longer seek
recognition from man, in fact you don't want it."
"That rental idea might be just the thing I
need, Sam. I am going to practise thinking that
about the business and about all the things I
think I own."
"And about your pride? Your ego?"
"I heard you. I don't know if we should go
there today. This detaching from material goods is
a big enough idea for today. But I tell you what,
Sam, give me a week. Let's meet back here a week
from now, and we will talk further."
"That's fine with me Darryl. I hope you have a
better idea of what's involved now."
"I do, Sam, thank you. I think you have given
me the answer I needed. Thank you."
With that Darryl grabbed the bill the waitress
had left, and the men rose to leave.
Thum - thum - thum - thum. The sound of the
helicopters could be heard a long way off. It was
a sound not ever heard by the people of the
village.They all came out to the beach to see what
was making the sound.
Two helicopters flew by. They were low, maybe
50 feet above the river. The water was high at
this time, being the rainy season. The helicopters
flew on by and as they left they hardly made a
sound.
There was much consternation within the
village. The people did not know what the
helicopters were and what they meant.
Eloise explained that they were only machines
man had built that allowed him to fly, in the same
sense the canoes on the beach allowed us to float.
The villagers were sated only by the love
broadcast by Boolanga, Mazunta, David, Pam, and
Eloise.
Those in the village who lived by higher law,
however, looked at one another. They well knew
what was happening and knew they would have to act
soon.
The helicopters were those used by a drug
lord. He was moving operations deeper into the
jungle and would stop at nothing to have things
his way. Any native group who got in his way would
simply be shot and done away with.
The topic was conversation for some days in
the village. It was not long before they heard
that a village upstream had been all shot up. Some
of the natives had escaped but many had died.
These strange noisy birds from the air had come
in and began shooting at the people. No one was
spared. Men, women and children were all shot. It
did not matter.
Those who had escaped eventually made their
way through the jungle to this village where
Mazunta and Eloise lived. There were nearly 30
refugees. All were made welcome.
The village was somewhat overwhelmed. The
sudden influx of people was a strain on the
foodstuffs and the organization of the village.
The newcomers did not realize they had stumbled
into a village where they would be safe.
Some of the village elders came to Mazunta.
They were much concerned with the state of
affairs. They were wise enough to know they could
handle the influx of people, but they were
concerned about those helicopters coming back and
doing the same thing to this village.
Mazunta, Eloise, David, Boolanga, Pam were
well ahead of the village elders in their
thinking. Mazunta told the elders not to worry,
that all would be well. He advised them to send
out that message so the village would settle down
and not panic.
For the next three or four days the
helicopters were busy. They must have flown past
the village a dozen or more times. Each time they
brought fear into the hearts of the newcomers to
the village and that, of course, spread to the
villagers.
The villagers had so long lived in peace they
had forgotten the vigilance needed to protect the
village. Many would come to speak with Mazunta and
Eloise. Many of them were so concerned they
demanded Mazunta and Eloise do something.
All Maz and Eloise did was broadcast love unto
them and told them to return to their homes in
peace.
In the meanwhile Boolanga, David and Pam came
over to think on what could be done to protect the
village. They came up with a plan.

Vacationing in Kentucky, a friend and I spent the night
at a small motel outside of Louisville. In the morning, I
asked the woman at the desk for directions to
Churchill Downs. Not able to tell us, she called her
husband from the back room.
"Churchill Downs?" he asked. "That's the race-track,
isn't it?" We nodded. He hesitated and then said, "I'm
pretty sure it's somewhere south of the university. I'm
sorry, but I don't think I can be much help."
At that point his wife left the room. The husband looked
over his shoulder to make sure she had disappeared.
Then he winked at us, leaned over the counter and
whispered, "Take Third Street through town, go past
the university and turn right on Central Avenue. After
that, just look for the twin spires. You can't miss 'em!"
