TODAY'S TRIVIA - - -
-----------------------
Does regular chocolate have the same flavonoids?
Does wine have antioxidants?
--------------
ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------
What is a nematode?
A nematode is a tiny (most of them are microscopic) simple
worm. Some nematodes are parasitic, but others feed on
bacteria, fungi, and other soil organisms. Nematodes are
actually VERY plentiful. Because they are able to adapt easily
to so many different environments, they have become one of
the most populous animals on the planet. Some nematodes
you might have heard of: the heartworm (which is a parasite
that feeds on dogs) and the pinworm (which feeds on humans).
Is it true that hot cocoa is good for you?
New research says it is. A hot cup of cocoa will not only warm
you up on a winter day, it will provide you with valuable
protection against disease. Scientists found that cocoa has
high levels of flavonoids, a type of antioxidant that is believed
to help prevent heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.

Fear of Success? Fear of Failure?
by Lorraine Cohen
What's holding you back?
One of my clients came to me saying he wanted to expand
his business - something he had thought about for years.
He described the changes he wanted to make but he had
taken limited action to make those changes happen. When
he talked about what he wanted, his eyes lit up, he smiled,
and there was passion and joy in his voice. Years? What
was stopping him? I listened as he expressed his internal
conflict. He said ? My business is going well, and it?s not
like I have to make changes, maybe it's not that important?
on and on." Bottom line - some part of him inside continued
to feel unfulfilled.
On the surface, it sounded like the changes he wanted
to make were for financial gains. Talking further, he
realized he was really speaking of a level of service
(how he wanted to help people improve their quality of
life) and personal fulfillment (actualizing his values,
purpose, and vision) that would come from aligning who
he is and what he does in a BIGGER way.
We discussed the things he told himself that allowed him
to remain stationary. His initial objection was ?If I put
myself out and take some risks- what if I fail?? (What if
this or that happens??? ) I replied, ? With all the years
of experience you have thinking about what you want
without committing to action, you have brilliantly
SUCCEEDED in FAILING! ?Congratulations!!!? His eyes
widened, and he burst out laughing. By doing nothing,
he insured his success at failing.
Going forward in our coaching sessions, we focused
on his attitudes about success/failure AND identified his
values, needs, purpose, and vision. Increased
self-awareness enabled him to make choices and
design strategic actions to create greater life satisfaction
and self-fulfillment.
Consider a change you have been thinking/talking
about for a while without much progress.
To learn more about what may be holding you back from
moving forward, ask yourself:
What is your definition of success? What does success
mean to you? Be specific. Identify specific successes.
What made them successes for you? What value did
you receive from succeeding? What fears, concerns,
or assumptions do you have associated with success?
How would your life change if you were/felt more
successful? (at whatever) What would you have to
give up? What would you gain? Who would you
become? (happier, self-confident, authentic, stronger???)
In exploring your attitudes about failure, consider the
following:
What is your definition of failure? What does failure
mean to you? If you fail at something, does that define
YOU as a failure? What specific failures have you
experienced? What value have you received from
failing? Be specific What fears, concerns, or
assumptions do you associate with failure? Are they
true? Can there be success in failure? If yes, how?
If no, say more. If you could not fail, what would you
be doing? Who would you be?
Fear of success/failure are two sides of the same
experience. By definition, success and failure is
perceived from multiple viewpoints. Both results offer
opportunities for self-discovery and change. Developing
the clarity to know who you are on the inside is a key
ingredient to achieve rich outcomes with ease, strength,
and focus! To live fully, you must fully participate ?
succeeding and failing for the joy of the experience.

Question & Answer
About Drugs And Interactions
PART 1 of 3
Original question:
I recently took Zithromax to clear a diagnosis of Chylmedia.
A little over a month ago I had surgery on my ankle and
had two stainless screws put into my bone. I've heard that
with certain antibiotics, the medicine will think of the
screws as a foreign object and just go to that area and
cause infection. Should I be worried? Will the Zithromax
do the job and clear the chylmedia? I'm also on Vicaden
for the pain. Any effects to the medicine? I'm also having
my wisdom teeth taken out on July 10th. Will this affect
the job of the Zithromax if I took it on July 1st? My parents
don't know and I can not discuss this issue in front of
them. Thank you so much for your time in
answering my questions.
Thanks, Donna.

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby
--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.
As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

The fire made a warm evening even warmer. But
it was somehow inviting. There is something about
a fire like this that makes people feel warm and
secure.
The kids from China were excited and talking,
just like all the kids around the fire. As the
evening wore on they began to settle and lean on
Mae and on each other. The hospitality of the
village had lured them into that state of reverie
and peace that only this village could do.
The villagers had prepared food and drink for
everyone and the special guests were served when
the others had to go get their own.
The rhythmical music was hypnotic in its
effect. The dancing was a joy to watch and the
laughter and glee around the fire would have lured
even the most skeptical into a belief of peace in
our time.
The children were entranced. They had not
spent a day like this. At home in the orphanage
they had peace and contentment but somehow it was
not yet as firmly entrenched as what they felt
here.
They absorbed the ambience like sponges. They
remembered everything. There were no questions,
just observations. They were quiet but had both
eyes and both ears open. Mae had arranged for them
to be able to communicate with the villagers.
This was truly an experience they would
remember with their hearts.
At the height of the evening Mazunta rose and
gave a speech to, for and about Mae. It appeared
she was sorely missed in this village and they
were very happy to have her return, if even for
only a day.
By the time the evening was over every single
villager had come by and bid her welcome home. And
each one took the time to speak to each of the
kids. The youngsters were not used to this kind of
treatment. They loved it.
After Mazunta's speech Mae was expected to
rise and speak. She was not only expected to say
she was glad to be home, but she was to tell the
village of some of her adventures while she was
away. Some of the villagers had met and knew of
Reno and Amenti, so Mae spent her time relaying
the story of what they were doing in China, and
about the orphanage from which these children
came. The villagers loved it. They were
enthusiastic in their praise and happiness about
the work Reno and Amenti were doing. Now, of
course they were joined by Maria Sanchez, whom
Mazunta, Eloise, David, Pam, Boolanga and Karmuz
all knew.
The blaze was continually fed and the spirit
of love permeated everything. Following Mazunta's
and Mae's speech the music drifted into background
music rather than loud upbeat dance music. It was
intended to be the music of peace and quiet at
that point.
The visiting carried on until the wee hours of
the morning. That was usual at a homecoming fire.
They tended to stay up later than usual and keep
the peace and love and happiness going.
Mae finally felt she should take the kids
home. Half of them were now sleeping on each other
as only kids, puppies and kittens can do. Those
who remained awake didn't want to leave, yet they
knew they must.
Mae packed up the kids so to speak and
instantly they were back at the orphanage in
China. The kids went immediately to their beds.
They were tired and this time zone switch would
catch up with them by tomorrow.
Before going to bed they all thanked Mae. It
had been a wonderful trip and they enjoyed it
without end. They made friends and had fun.
Mae brought greetings to Amenti, Reno, Maria
and to Susan from those who knew them in the
village back home.
It seems the folks at the orphanage were busy,
too. Susan had done the same thing with her group
that Mae had done with hers. Susan had taken her
group back to her place in Pinehill. The kids were
much surprised that Susan lived in a house like
the one she showed them. And, of course, there was
much visiting with Sam and Alewka Henry. Susan had
not seen them for months. While that was going on
Tim, Tom and Billy occupied the time and attention
of the kids from the orphanage.
The boys took all the kids downtown to see how
the city had nearly blown up, then took them to an
ice cream parlor where all the kids had giant ice
cream cones. That was a treat. None had ever seen
such a thing. And they were enjoyed to the
fullest, including the ear to ear mess from
melting ice cream.
The kids never stopped talking or being
excited about all they were seeing in Pinehill.
After the ice cream they went home to watch a
little television. The boys were cautious enough
to warn the kids that such things might intrigue
them but really represented a bondage and that if
they wanted to live the life their Maker had in
store for them then attachment to things like ice
cream and television was out of the question. Oh,
you can have, see, watch, but one must never
become attached.

HA! HA! HA!
A 6th grade teacher posed the following problem to one of
her arithmetic classes:
"A wealthy man dies and leaves ten million dollars.
One-fifth is to go to his wife, one-fifth is to go to his son,
one-sixth to his butler, and the rest to charity. Now, what
does each get?"
After a very long silence in the classroom, one little boy
raised his hand and with complete sincerity in his voice,
answered, "A lawyer!"
