Where did humans originate?

ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------
Is it true Columbus died a pauper in a Spanish prison?
No. He did spend some time in a Spanish prison (his men said
he was a cruel leader), but Queen Isabella saw to his
release. He died quietly, a relatively wealthy man, at the
age of 55, surrounded by friends and family.
Are Neanderthals our ancestors?
No. Neanderthals are considered close relatives of modern
humankind, but not direct ancestors.

OPTIMIZE LIFE NOW!

---------------------
Spreading Light
In any circumstance you can be the one to spread light. It
comes from your decision within. You choose what you show to
the world, don't you? You also choose what you reflect. You
are powerful.
A while ago, I spent a wonderful afternoon with a new friend
who lives part of each year in India. As I showed him my
photos of India, I remembered the wonder I felt when I was
in the large fort outside Jaipur. This palace has a bed
chamber which was decorated for the master of the house. The
tour guide had us come into that room and close the doors.
He lighted a candle, just one candle, and the room was
filled with light. How? The room had thousands of tiny
mirrors embedded in the plaster. What a demonstration of
reflected light!
The well-known author, Edith Wharton, who seemingly knew all
about this wrote, "There are two ways of spreading light; to
be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." Both are
valuable and needed. In many cases you must make a choice
between two attractive alternatives. Today you need not
choose between them. You can do both. You can be a light,
AND, you can reflect the light you see in others--the
goodness, the beauty, the growth, the love--all that is
positive! Celebrate it!
Keep beautiful candles around you. Have a special one where
you sit to think, meditate or pray. Each time you light it
let it be a reminder of your desire to keep your own light
shining and your mirror reflecting all that is beautiful to
you every day. Choose that candle now!

Understanding Anxiety And
How It May Affect Your Life
PART 1 of 4
Anxiety is a feeling of apprehension, of worry, of
uneasiness, of fear. It is a dread of something about to
happen over which you feel you have no control, especially
of the future.
A certain amount of anxiety is healthy. It is normal and
motivates you to purposeful action. It can "nag" you to make
changes.
The severity can range from mild to very severe. It is only
problem when the severity is inappropriate or when it
interferes with your normal daily functions. Then you must
be prepared to pay attention.
This is not healthy and helpful: you should find ways of
getting it out of your system. For many people, this can be
a very difficult time, as the very act of feeling anxious
will prevent the necessary solutions from being started.
How do you find the cause, which will then allow you deal
with any solutions? Could you adapt some parts of your life
so you can live with this condition? Is there someone who
could help you deal with it if this is happening to you?

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby
--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.
The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to

----------------
Tom and Tlang, true to their word, were back in
approximately two hours. They found Sam and Alewka out back
of the orphanage, sitting in some chairs, soaking up the sun
and chatting with Amenti, Reno, Maria and Riata.
It was clear to this group from the orphanage that Sam
Henry was a special one among them. They wanted to spend as
much time as possible with him. That was the case wherever
Sam went, although he could share no more with them than
they could with him. What made Sam a magnetic attraction to
men and women alike, was his size, his good health and his
own personal magnetism. Sam not only broadcast love but did
so in such a way that everyone around were almost
overpowered by it's strength. Everyone looked up to Sam. His
power was becoming closer to Jesus everyday. That, of
course, was the intent of Jesus' blessing upon him.
Tlang, for her part, loved this family very much. We all
know she was in love with Tom, but Tom's family represented
to her the family she did not have and she was very close to
Alewka and Sam. She loved them both, very deeply. So it was
not unusual for her to go sit on the ground next to Sam and
lean on his legs as he participated in the conversation. She
basked in the love and warmth he emitted.
That was not lost on Sam. He could feel the energy
leaving him and into her. He loved Tlang, deeply, as a
Father/daughter relationship, so he permitted this
closeness. Sam well recognized the life from which Tlang had
come and knew it was important for her to have a Father
figure. He would be happy to provide it to her.
"Mr. Henry, it is good to have you here. I have heard
very much about you and your family. How long will you be
with us?"
"Amenti, I can only hope all you heard was good news.
Mom and I thought we might remain for a couple days then
move on. I hope that creates no imposition for you."
"My heavens no. You will not only be a welcome addition,
I wish you would consider staying longer. You can bring much
wisdom to our council. We sit and chat around a fire every
night. That's what we call our council. That is where we
hear questions about higher law, the running of the
orphanage, the absence of any need for money, and all sorts
of things. You would contribute much if you would stay a
little longer."
"Well, thank you, Amenti. We will both consider that.
After a compliment like that we will have to reconsider our
plans."
They all laughed.
"Mr. Henry, where is your daughter? We have heard so
much about her."
"She is presently in her village in South America. She
lives up river about 1000 miles from Matto Grosso, where
Riata's folks live. Presently she is doing the most
important job in the world, being a Mother. That is actually
one of the reasons she decided to move down to the village,
from Pinehill, so she could do that job without the high
pressure and undue influence of money. She well knew
motherhood was far, far more than just having the money to
raise kids. When she fell in love with Mazunta, the man who
was with me the other day, that cinched it."
"I'm glad you consider motherhood to be the most
important job there is. Some of our girls question that and
I know that up where you live in Pinehill there are many who
know not the importance of that job."
"You're right Amenti. Because of financial pressures and
because we are judged by what is perceived as our own
personal wealth, too many Mothers end up out of the house
working. They think it is to bring home money, so they can
have more, but it rarely works out that way. Few there are
who realize the opportunity to spend money expands according
to the amount of money perceived to be available. Many there
are who are earning $60, 000 or $80,000 annually who find it
tough to make ends meet, while there are others living below
$30,000 who not only have no trouble handling their finances
well, but usually have a better balanced, happy, strong
family. Once you get caught up in the maelstrom of earning
money you lose sight entirely of what is important. It
causes much stress in our nation, then the natural and
subsequent illness associated with that condition. Few there
are who take the time to sit and think that whole thing
through.
To handle that stress folks are turning to drugs and
alcohol, thinking it aids them through their day. None of
them know what a person looks and acts like after sucking on
marijuana for 20 years. They become vegetables, having lost
much of their ability to function properly. They impose a
huge cost on any health care system. And those who like or
claim to need the 'buzz' of a few drinks everyday know not
the 'buzz' that comes from getting clean and having a
relationship with their Maker. It is far superior and long
lasting than any 'buzz' from chemicals like drugs or
alcohol."
"That, too, then, becomes part of our work, to have
mankind realize drugs and alcohol only ruins their lives,
where going inside and establishing a relationship with
one's Maker offers far more than drugs or alcohol ever can."
"Right, Amenti. And wherever we get a chance to let
folks know that we tell them."

WHY DO WE SAY IT?
Canard: Why do we call a lie a "canard"
"Canard" is the French word for "duck". And the story is
told that a Frenchman named Cornelisson set out to prove the
gullibility of people. He therefore reported that he had had
20 ducks but had cut up one of these and fed it to those
left. He then cut up a second duck and fed it to those left.
Then a third, and so on - until ultimately he had cut up
nineteen - and all had been eaten. The story of the 20th
duck that had eaten 19 others was repeated and gave this
special meaning to the word "canard".

"Don't celebrate closing a sale, celebrate opening a

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
HA! HA! HA!
A goober is driving down the highway when she gets pulled
over by the State Highway Patrol. As luck would have it, the
officer pulling her over is a goober herself.
She walks up to the car and knocks on the window.
"Miss, do you know why I pulled you over today?"
"No officer I don't."
"Well, I clocked you doing 82MPH in a 65MPH zone. I'm
afraid I will have to see your license."
"What are those?"
"Well miss, your license is a little square thing in your
purse with your picture on it."
So the goober digs around in her purse looking for something
square. Finally she finds her compact, opens it up and looks
in the little mirror. Seeing herself she smiles and hands it
to the officer.
The officer takes the compact, looks at it and exclaims,
"Why didn't you tell me you were a cop?"
