Is it true that Canada once had a plan to invade the US?
Yes, but then the US also had a plan to invade Canada.
Both plans were hypothetical and neither was ever put
into action. Canada's plan was drafted by
James Sutherland Brown, the country's director of
Military Operations and Intelligence at Canadian army
headquarters in the 1920s. Brown's "Defense Scheme
Number 1" would have had Canadian troops traveling
southward into the US to capture such "key" bases as
Minneapolis and Seattle. It was hoped that if the need to
invade the US arose, the British Army would help Canada
out. Canada had a fear of invasion from the US all the way
up to the twentieth century - with good reason, apparently.
The US supposedly had a "Strategic Plan Red" to capture
Canada, also in the 1920s.
Why do earthquakes in other countries seem to cause
more casualties and damage than quakes in the US?
Damage and deaths from quakes are directly related to
the safety of the buildings and structures in the area. The
greater damage and deaths in other nations can be
partly blamed on poorly designed buildings. Population
density also plays a major role. The more people living
in an earthquake area, the higher the casualties.

Who's more likely to pay for your product ?

Theoretically, millions and millions people can use
your product. Very important is to see who is more likely
to pay for it. One of the best ways to find the right answer
is to consider the following 6 steps.
1. Find a niche market.
Don't aim to dominate a huge, general market like
home owners. Narrow your focus to a targeted "niche"
like home lighting or alarm systems or women interested
in home decoration. You don't need to attract millions
people in your venture, you only need to attract a
few thousands.
2. Figure out what they want.
People have various and different needs connected
to your business field. Do not try to solve everyone. Do
not try to divide their needs in important and less
important according to your mind. You might
be wrong. Better, focus your attention to those things
they need very often.
3. Develop the product accordingly.
Your business may have more than one product. You
need to decide what product or products, or product
category people need the best. Start by developing a
single product or a family of very close related
products.
4. Offer it to them.
This is the big day. You have the possibility now to
verify if your 'lab' work meets the needs of the real
people you target. If not or for a better fit, evaluate the
deviation from your offer to people request and
make the necessary adjustments. Do not concentrate
your attention to quality of product exclusively.
Sometime it's just perfect to make some
modifications regarding promotion, delivery, packing
5. Automate the business.
A business that need your physical presence every
moment could have only a small number of customers,
because your time and energy are limited. In this
situation you must charge enough from every client
to cover your expertise and /or handling. This kind
of venture cannot by developed on internet. The big
secret of online business is to make it run in an
automate way, without your permanent assistance.
6. Start another product and diversify.
If you've succeeded to automate your business, then
you have time for another leadings, such developing
and diversifying your product series. Every new
product will go over 3, 4 and 5 above points.
Do not forget from time to time to check the second
point or even the first one. Remember that not long
time ago, it was a huge market for videocassettes,
but the development of CD's has killed it overnight.

Install DOS Programs On Windows
When installing an older DOS program, you may
encounter a situation where the program insists that
it be installed to the "C:\Program" folder, rather than
Windows' "C:\Program Files" folder. The problem
stems from the fact that the DOS program does not
recognize long files names, stumbling over the space
in "Program Files." You can, however, instruct the
program to install itself in the C:\Program Files folder
by using the proper DOS folder abbreviation. When
prompted to choose the installation location, type
"C:\PROGRA~1\" (excluding quotation marks). The
program will install to the Program Files folder without
further complaint.

How It Serves You And Why You Need To Keep It Healthy

In the following information, I want to describe what the Immune
System is and how it works. Then I'll mention some situations
that can overload it and cause it to be less than protective and
productive. I'll show how it can be brought back to function
adequately. Lastly, I want to show you how to keep it healthy.
As usual this information is for educational purposes only. If
you think of something that might be happening to you, please
check with your doctor or other health care professional. Don't
diagnose and treat yourself. But do take the time to read and
research. I am including several professional and trustworthy
links for just that purpose. I write these articles so you can
have an intelligent conversation with your doctor. Not that you
are not intelligent, but that you can ask the right questions
and understand the conversation in a more productive way. If you
pay close attention you will realise that rarely does anyone
ever discuss what a healthy body actually is or needs to stay
that way. We take it for granted that somehow...magically,
things appear that keeps your body in good working order.
I wonder what went through your mind as you read title. Did this
catch your attention? Or are you like I was a few years
ago...thinking this is NOT for me. This is only for academics
and health fanatics. This topic had no interest for me. I felt I
didn't need to know it and didn't want to spend any time
understanding it. It just didn't SEEM to relate to anything in
my life. If someone mentioned "immune system" or "vitamins" or
taking something other than Vitamin C to protect myself when I
had a cold, I had absolutely no interest.
What changed my mind? I saw the effects of medications on
elderly people, who I thought was drugged into "unreality". I
also watched many people die of diseases at a relatively young
age. I saw many older people go on happily well into their
nineties. I asked myself what the difference could be.
Your personal experiences have very strong ways of "trapping"
your attention, especially if it's your own body telling you to
wake up. Suddenly, hearing about the need to protect or rebuild
your immune system takes on a totally different meaning.
Suddenly you feel connected. It doesn't sound so unreal any
more. As is so often the case, things don't matter until you are
personally faced with a major and maybe life-threatening
situation for yourself or a loved one. It was at such a stage,
that I was introduced to understanding how degenerative diseases
could be slowed down and what I could personally do the prevent
them.

The story deals with their adventures along the way

"Are you saying what Sam Henry and his family are
doing is actually what Jesus told them to do?" asked Bob.
"Not in the sense that Jesus tells them what to do every
second of every day, no. But in the sense that they have
gone deep inside to meet their Maker and follow their
Maker's laws, yes, they are doing exactly what Jesus
taught. And, yes, any man can make that choice. In the
beginning, Mr. Hunter, I didn't believe it either. I came
back from that journey with a lot of money and I believed
that if I had money I could do anything. As you know I
sure found out that was a wrong idea. I still have lots of
money over in the bank, but I haven't touched a cent of
it since we went down south. Now I have no need of
it at all. Why would I want money when I can have any
and everything I want anyway?" asked David.
"Are you saying money is no good?" asked Bob.
"Mr. Hunter, you are presently thinking in terms of the
only knowledge you have. To you money is important.
You know no other way. But let me ask you this, if you
could have anything you want the instant you said you
wanted it, and didn't have to pay for it, why would
you need money?" asked David.
"Well, I guess I wouldn't need money then." answered Bob.
"If such an esteemed teacher as Jesus says '. . . . and
all these things shall be added unto you', then is it not a
good idea to find out what he is talking
about?" asked David.
"But how does it work?" asked Bob.
"It doesn't really 'work', Bob, it just is. The very first
thing one must recognize is the fundamental law 'As ye
sow, so shall ye reap'. When you clearly understand
that law applies to everything in the universe, even
your own thoughts, then you are beginning to see the
truth. You will also understand why it is dangerous to
harbor hatred toward another, for that will produce fruit
you do not want. And, conversely you can see why it is
so important to love everyone and everything you see,
not in a possessive kind of love but in a free, pure and
passionate love. Do these and your life changes,
almost overnight." answered David.
He went on, "Soon you come to see that what you think,
manifests. It is not through effort, for you cannot force
something to happen through thinking it so. It is because
you have come to believe it is so, that it happens. And
so the saying the people from Missouri have of 'I'll believe
it when I see it.' should actually be the other way around.
The real truth is 'I'll see it when I believe it.' Can you
understand that?" asked David.
"I think so." Bob answered somewhat reservedly.
"In time, if you choose to pursue it further, these things
become clear. It is like Jesus says in Matthew 21: 21 & 22.
'Whatsoever things ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye
shall receive.' So now you know this is not of the devil,
but of God. Now you can see it is not something out of
the ordinary, but the way life is supposed to be lived.
When you elevate your level of thinking past what you
already know, into the realm of the possible, you begin
to see the teachings are right, that what Sam Henry
does is the way all people should and can live, but for
choice. It is only the choice a man makes that determines
the difference, and in that, we cannot, nor will we, interfere
or influence a man. The choice must be exclusively
his." said David.
"It sounds so hard." mused Bob.
"When one first comes into the knowledge it can
sometimes look that way. It isn't hard, it is a matter of
belief. It will come." answered David, "can I change the
subject a little here?"
"Of course." said Bob.
"We first got to talking on this subject because you were
inquiring about our life in South America. I knew we
could not have that discussion without having this one
so I went straight here. However, at home, Bob, the
climate is so warm, all year, that we have no great need
of shelter to keep us warm. We need shelter to keep us
dry, and in the very hot summer, to give us shade. Food
is plentiful both from the jungle and from the river, so
we have no need to work hard for our food. There is no
use for money down there, the concept is nearly foreign.
People will make things and take them in to the trading
town to trade for the goods they need, but they don't use
money. So our life is peaceful, fulfilling." said David.
"It is hard to think of life without money. I am beginning
to see that up here our minds revolve around money. I
am beginning to see what you said, about our minds being
trapped within the framework of what we know, and we
don't go beyond that until we are forced, or make up our
minds. Why is that so?" asked Bob, bringing the
conversation back to the way man lives.

Today I have begun doing some real marketing with the
newsletter site. It will be interesting to see what results.
The last couple days I got the Pebble formatted and
assembled for the next couple weeks. That takes a lot
of time, but frees me up daily quite a bit.
I've put together a remarkable system for assembling
newsletters. I can literally do up hundreds in a week
with no more effort than a regular job. Wow! It's neat.
