When we look at the Milky Way, we're looking at so many

What were mummies used for in Europe until the 18th century?

Believe it or not, ancient Egyptian mummies were once
considered medicinal and "mummy powder," the crushed

thePEBBLE has been, is and will continue to be a

I have put thePEBBLE online, to serve those of you who
loyally follow the publication, especially The Saga Of
Pinehill.

I will continue to publish thePEBBLE daily and email

How to Really Benefit from Associations (Part III):
Researching Associations in Your Industries?
by Diana Barnum

This is Part III in a 3-part series. For your convenience, the
entire series is online here:

? Part I: ?How to Develop Industry Contacts?
http://movingaheadcommunications.com/associations1.html
? Part II: ?Tips For Improved Networking in Associations?
http://movingaheadcommunications.com/associations2.html
? Part III: ?Researching Associations in Your Industries?
http://movingaheadcommunications.com/associations3.html

RESEARCHING ASSOCIATIONS IN YOUR INDUSTRIES

Some people within each organization generally seem to
have a lot more industry knowledge than others. For example,
Board members, elderly members who have been in the
industry for years, Executive Directors and office
administration staff can often direct you to additional
resources about your group and industry. In fact, these
people often have FILES of info.

What you can do:

1. Call ahead & offer to pick up any copies of info they
can supply you from their files. Offer to take the person
to lunch & discuss the latest group, industry & business
info. Reference the latest selections from your ebook
club membership for help
http://presssuccess.com/wholesale - - where at least
two new ebooks come out each month.

2. Stay in touch with these people. But don?t be a
nuisance. I.E. when you need something, send a
1-sentence email or leave a brief voicemail. When they
send materials your way, always send a ?Thank You?
email or leave a ?Thank you? voicemail. Ask if they'd
like to be on your newsletter and announcement lists
or invite them to download information about your
company that you have stored for automated, quick
use at http://presssuccess.com/AutoPilot .

3. Ask these kind folks for referrals. They generally
have at least a couple and these referrals are most
often top-notch in their industries, too.

4. Ask what you can do to help them, too. And stay
alert for opportunities. Others are often scared to ?ask,?
thinking they'll be imposing or something. So offer to
volunteer to help with their next telephone campaign
or newsletter article or something.

5. Groups? websites, newsletters and other publications
(in print and online) often hold keys to research into
more of their issues and connections. They mention
professors and other top industry professionals in their
articles. And they often refer to government and corporate
entities in their statistics and case studies, too. More keys
to industry info mean more opportunities to network and
reach out.

6. Check out the group?s history. This often offers insight
to their Mission Statement and where the group as a
whole is heading; i.e. what their objectives are.

7. Find something about the group that ignites a passion
inside you. Maybe a grandparent worked for decades in
one branch of the industry, for instance, and is now
earning disability income. So you?d like to learn more
about safety prevention measures. Your passion will
guide your research and work within the group at a
unique level.

MEDICAL COLUMN - - - -

Prevent BP (Blood Pressure) Pitfalls

Your doctor has told you that your blood pressure
is too high and he wants you to keep an eye on it.
Where do you start - where do you go to monitor it?
You're tempted to buy a "machine" right away, but
luckily your pharmacist talks you out of it.

There are several easy, quick ways to do this on a
regular basis, but there are a some ground rules.

Use the machines in the pharmacies or supermarket,
but stick to one machine. The readings aren't the
same, so don't compare them. But here is a way to
compare the readings "fairly". Use the same machine,
at about the same time of the day each time you check
it. Wear roughly the same type of clothing each time.
And don't pull up the shirtsleeve: it will block circulation
at the upper arm. To get a comparable reading you
might go every fourth day, at about noon to the local
pharmacy (where you also keep all your prescriptions
and buy all your "over the counter" products), and wear
the nice cotton shirt with light sweater. Take a few
minutes to relax. Then put your arm, with the shirt
sleeve still buttoned and sweater in place, into the
arm holder, press the button and wait for it to inflate.

Don't believe the reading? Do it again, BUT wait for
at least five minutes. Keep your composure or the
measurement will be even higher. When you repeat
this, don't change anything. Get another reading and
then compare. Some food (salt) or beverages
(caffeine, alcohol), or medications can often change
the results. A "not so friendly drive" over might also
have changed the reading substantially. Did you
know that a visit to the doctors' office will really raise
your blood pressure? It's a proven fact and it's called
"white coat syndrome". Record your readings and
take the record to the doctor regularly. Pick up a
pamphlet from the pharmacist on how to interpret
the readings or ask them for help.

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

<><><><>

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.
As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

----------------------------------------

"Then you must learn to go inside and
communicate with your Maker. All your Maker wants
for you is happiness, abundance, love and peace.
That is what each man's Maker wants for him, if
they would but listen."

"I know this. I need help to know my Maker."

"I will show you how, but let's cut across
here to get to the other side." Mae had stepped
off the bank that was containing the rice paddie
they were near. She walked on the water and was
not sinking or getting wet.

"Close your eyes, Psong. Take my hand. See
yourself walking on top of the water. Believe you
can do this. Then open your eyes and, holding my
hand, follow me."

Psong did as directed. Slowly she stepped down
off the bank. Mae was broadcasting so much love
that it occupied Psong's attention more than any
fear of sinking in the water. She opened her eyes
and found she was already far out into the paddie.
She looked at Mae, then smiled. She knew what Mae
had done and she knew, too, that she could do
this. Psong let go of Mae's hand, and, still
looking at Mae she continued to walk on top of the
water. Then she looked around, at the whole world
that lay before her. In her heart was beating a
love that was so strong she thought it would
burst. They walked to the other side of the
paddie.

The villager that was working the rice paddie
stood in awe. She knew who Psong was and she knew
who Mae was. To see the pair of them walking on
water was a shock to the villager. She cowered in
fear. She had never seen such an act before and it
scared her. Mae stopped and walked over to her,
broadcasting love. As the love took over in the
heart of the villager she forgot her fear. When
Mae extended her hand the villager took it and the
pair of them walked to the side of the rice
paddie. There they sat. Mae explained to her it
was a perfectly natural thing and that she could
do it too, if she wished. The villager shook her
head. Mae left her there in bewilderment. There
was no more fear.

Mae returned to Psong who was standing now in
the middle of the paddie. The pair of them
continued their walk to the far side and then they
got up on the bank and carried on in the direction
it took.

"Do you now see what can happen when you
believe you can do something? The entire universe
is built upon a spiritual matrix, an invisible
framework, so to speak. Your thoughts can control
that matrix. When you see the water supporting you
what you are doing is telling the spiritual matrix
or framework that it will support your framework.
The gross matter that is water attached to it's
matrix and the flesh that is attached to your
framework are now beyond affecting each other as
man sees. You are in control of the world beyond
the sight of man and that world will always
respond to your belief system. Walking on water is
no different that walking on land. One could sink
in land as much as water if one believed."

"Then it is knowing my Maker's laws, my
Maker's world, my Maker's ways. When I know and
trust that I can do what you do."

"That's it. It is only knowing your Maker and
believing in your Maker's world. Then you are
placed in a privileged position where you must now
help mankind when asked by your Maker."

"I will do this. I want to help people anyway.
They toil so hard and they fear so much. Life is
hard for them."

"You must never impose your thoughts upon man.
You can only help in a global sense or in a
specific sense if the person shows they would like
to learn higher law. Remember not to be fooled for
the world will do anything to have you look after
them, giving no attention to doing the work
themselves."

"I will watch. My former life gave me much
insight into what man is like."

"Yes, and you must always listen to your Maker
within. Do not go against the instructions you
receive from within. It is your Maker who knows.
And it is you who must obey."

"I will." Psong had a heart that was now
singing. She was in love with all. She had never
known such deep happiness. Neither had she been
able to see so clearly. Insights were now
happening that she had not seen before.

KABOOOOM!

From the center of town there was a huge
explosion. Flames and black smoke could be seen
from every part of town. Sirens were now going.
People from every house were out on their
sidewalks looking at the flames and smoke
billowing up into the morning sky.

At a country-club party a young man was introduced to an
attractive girl. Immediately he began paying her court and
flattering her outrageously. The girl liked the young man, but
she was taken a bit aback by his fast and ardent pitch. She
was amazed when after 30 minutes he seriously proposed
marriage.

"Look," she said. "We only met a half hour ago. How can
you be so sure? We know nothing about each other."

"You're wrong," the young man declared.

"For the past 5 years I've been working in the bank where
your father has his account."
