Would You Rather Be Wealthy?

Would you rather be wealthy or poverty-stricken? Not a
difficult question to answer, is it? How do you think your
thoughts impact on your financial state?
Just as the earth contains in its depths great riches--oil,
diamonds, gold, uranium, silver, gas and countless other
things--you also have the real riches of life deep within you.
Your innate intelligence and your willingness to use your mind
are precious. Begin mining within!
There is a great story about a poor miner in Scotland who was
often unable to even provide shoes for his children. His
young son came to him and told him that he wanted to be a
surgeon. His father asked him why he wanted that career and he
said that a friend at school had had cataracts. An eye surgeon
had operated on his friend and now he could see perfectly.
The young boy said that he wanted to be able to help people in
that same way.
The father told his son that he had saved $8,000 for his
education but would prefer that he worked his way through
medical school and then use that money to set himself up in a
medical practice in a fine neighborhood. The boy did so. He
worked nights and weekends and finally graduated. He wanted
to live up to his promise to his father and not touch the
money in the bank until he graduated.
When he graduated, his father told him that there really was
no money in the bank. The new surgeon was completely at a
loss for words for a few minutes. Then both he and his father
burst out laughing. The son realized that his father had
really engendered the feeling of wealth in his son and it had
given him the courage, faith and confidence to believe in his
ability to earn his way through medical school.
The secret of success, accomplishment, achievement and
fulfillment of your goals lies in the discovery of the amazing
power of your thoughts and feelings. You must come to a
clear-cut decision that you intend to be successful. Impress
your subconscious with love, confidence, right action,
abundance, security and good humor and it will always be there
for you to "mine"! What you think and keep in mind, you will
create.

Let's say you have IBS Irritable Bowel Syndrome: another
degenerative condition as the others above are. This is
a very uncomfortable condition in which different
situations and food irritate the cells of the bowel lining.
You should be under doctor's care for flare-ups, but
would you have the courage to propose to your doctor
what the AMA suggests? That you try optimum amounts
of nutritional supplements to correct that degenerative
condition? Your lifestyle with IBS is less than desirable.
Wouldn't it make sense to try to reverse the outcome?
Again with the AMA suggestion, it might well be possible
to reverse the outcome, but if my Amish farmer is correct,
few people will take that leap of faith to help themselves.

BUT if you do, your health, your life, your attitude,
your future will be so different! Not only will
you benefit, but so will your family and your extended family!
What the Amish farmer story encourages is the choice of
"free thinking". Just think...with fewer health problems,
you would have more time for other activities, more time
to do the things you and your family CHOOSE to do: not
things you are forced to do. Or are prevented from doing.
Once the degenerative process gets a foothold, it seems
that the entire body is affected. So with reversing the
outcome, aren't you also allowing the rest of your body
to stay relatively healthy?

were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each

adventures and many places.

"That is precisely what he is doing. But I
don't want you to 'talk'. I don't want you having
a conversation. Try, instead to 'think' the
thoughts without any external or internal
conversation. It takes practise but in time you
will get it."
"That sounds hard. I'm talking all the time."
"We all do. It is another habit learned from
our youth. Try only to think the thoughts without
putting words to them. Now, there is one more
thing I want you to know. When you go into
meditation your emotions can rule the day, if you
let them. You will find yourself sexually aroused
almost past the point of your own control. Take
control. It is you who is in charge of your
thinking. If you allow yourself to go with the
thoughts that are emotionally sponsored I am not
saying it will do you harm, but what I am saying
is that so long as you go with those thoughts so
long will you be kept from your objective."
"That is simple. I can see that."
"Good, and there is something else. Your
emotions will want you to take up the role of
ruler. You will have situations in your life where
your thoughts will take you to where you have
absolute control over a person, thing or
condition. It is in the nature of man to want to
control and this will come forth in your
meditations. It is another thing you must set
aside and proceed with your real goal. Don't
listen to it and don't follow it. It is an ego
oriented thing and will not serve you. In your
Maker's world there is no room for ego. There is
only room for love."
"You make it sound hard."
"I am only trying to show you the personal
enemies you will come up against when you are
searching for truth. These things are all present
to take you off the path. You must learn to
overcome these thoughts, these conditions if you
would find your Maker. Another one of mankind's
needs is to feel secure. That is too often
translated into having a lot of money. Many of
your thoughts, in your meditations, will want to
show you making much money, and you will find
yourself much satisfied with the feeling of
security that seems to come from that. It is a
false thought. Your security lies in meeting your
Maker within, and knowing you can do all the
things your Maker wants. It is the KNOWING that
your Maker has provided to you all the means
whereby you can have, do or be what you need or
want. When you KNOW that you have the power."
"I will try."
"Sharon, don't try. Just do. Always act,
always assume you are the child of your Maker and
can do what your Maker wants. If you make that
assumption it is safer than and will override all
contrary thoughts." Tim felt he had now given
Sharon enough to think on. "Let's go back to the
house. It is getting late back home and we should
be getting back. We'll stop to say good bye to
Sonora and the family."
They started to walk up the hill toward
Sonora's. This return trip would take longer and
was harder going than the trip downhill. Tim took
Sharon's hand and in an instant they were up
behind Sonora's. They then walked around front.
Sonora, Kenyata and Mombudo were seated around the
fire circle. They were chatting about Hemno and
his journey. They all knew what was going on
between Tim and Sharon.
They greeted the couple warmly and with love.
They understood the challenge to live by higher
law. They well knew Sharon had not yet been
willing to give up her life. That didn't mean
Sharon had to die. It meant that to live the life
your Maker wants you must give up all the things
you want. You must relinquish ownership of
dreams, ideas, things, people. The only thing you
can want is a relationship with your Maker, and
you must mean it. When you do these things then
the opportunity to meet your Maker comes forth.
Then you can have, do or be anything you want.
Things change, of course, at that point, for
as with all men the moment you can have everything
you discover there is no need for everything. The
things you used to dream about become pointless
and you see no further need for them. There is no
need to live in an extraordinarily elaborate
house, for example. That is an ego trip for man.
There is no need for the biggest, fastest,
mostest, vehicle. That is an ego trip for man.
There is no need to be the social butterfly or the
center of attention. Those things are of man. Once
they are all available one sees how unnecessary
they are.
Tim and Sharon sat down for a little while and
chatted away. Much of the conversation revolved
around the disaster that had just occurred in
Pinehill. All three of the hosts were interested.
Tim and Sharon invited them to Pinehill for a
visit. With that they said their good byes and
were off.

you are flying on the maiden voyage of one of our brand
new fully- automated jetliners. These new jetliners are the
pride of our fleet and have no need for pilot, co-pilot or
navigator. All human error has been eliminated. You
needn't be alarmed, as everything from the cabin pressure
to the speed and altitude is completely controlled by our
computer. We're excited about the world's first
fully-automated airplane, and we hope you are,
too. So just sit back and relax, and remember, nothing
can go wrong...nothing can go wrong... nothing can go
wrong... nothing can go wrong..."
