How long do crocodiles live?

Is it true that new mothers have a special chemical that
makes them fearless?

What happens when you have HIGH levels of CRF?

--------------
ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------

Do animals cry?

Depends what you mean by crying. Some animals, such as
chimpanzees and dogs, can produce tears. But it's anyone's
guess whether they produce tears out of emotion, like humans
do, or simply to lubricate irritated eyes.

Do crocodiles produce tears?

Crocodiles don't actually have tear ducts, so they don't
tear up like we do. However, they DO have glands to moisten
the eyes when they are out of water and can appear to have
tears! The tears, of course, are not due to emotion. So
don't feel sad for "crocodile tears" and think the croc is
sincerely upset!

Here's To Think On ...
with Ken Darby
------------------------------------

Separated By A Common Language!

Worried that they hadn't heard anything for days from the
widow in the apartment next door, the mother said to her
son, "Tony, would you go next door and see how Old Mrs.
Pierpoint is?"

A few minutes later, Tony returned.

"Well, is she all right?" asked the mother.

"She's fine, but she's rather annoyed with you," remarked
Tony.

"At me?" the mother exclaimed. "Whatever for?"

Tony replied, "Mrs. Pierpoint said it's none of your
business how old she is."

They say that if you lined up twenty people and whisper a
message into the ear of the first one, who in turn will
whisper that same message into the ear of the next and so
on, then stand at the other end of the line to have the last
person whisper that message into your ear - - - you will not
recognize it when you receive it.

That is because people try to make it better, shorter,
clearer all from their own perspective. In politics they
call it "spin".

It has nothing to do with anyone's intent to change it. It
has to do with the perspective from which they view their
world.

Those whose personalities are negative will look through
glasses that paint everything negative. When asked to
interpret anything, it will have a negative slant to it.

Those whose personalities are positive will interpret
positive. Those who pay attention to detail will interpret
that way and those who don't will give a very loose
interpretation.

Yet we all speak a common language. What happens?

How you view the world is entirely dependent upon how you
have decided to view the world. As you went through life you
gained experiences that gave you the knowledge and the
emotional platform from which you view your environment.
That platform is completely different than the next person,
even those within your own family and who have had many of
the same experiences.

The next time you are speaking with someone, watch them
closely. Watch their eyes, their body language. Observe
whether or not you think they got the message you said. Some
make subtle changes. Some, in the interest of controlling
the conversation will misinterpret it completely.

And, so, you can be sure it is important you think about the
words you use when you write. Even this message will be
interpreted by some in a way that will provide no value to
them. Others will absorb it and work with it. Your choice,
of course, but the point is made.

Learn to pick your words that reflect your respect for the
audience you are addressing. When you go across cultures, be
aware of the do's and don'ts in a culture you are speaking
or writing to. For example a "burn the bra" statement might
be entirely understood in America, even England, yet it will
be misinterpreted in Eastern countries.

That is not to say it is right or wrong. It is only to say
you must be aware we are all - - -

MEDICAL COLUMN - - - -
by Karin Henderson

Cancer… You Can Beat it or It Can Beat You
PART 3 of 3

Please recognize that I have only WRITTEN some words here
and they CREATE the feelings. You haven't DONE anything at
all yet! I'm going to come to my point with another example
and it's one I'm sure you have already done.

I am asking you to go to the fridge, get out a lemon, take
it to the counter, cut it into five even pieces, and arrange
these on a small saucer.

Is your mouth watering a bit? Is your mouth producing extra
saliva?

I want to demonstrate the POWER of words…depression makes
you think darkness, gloom, but if I suggest hope, you would
perk up and think…what can I do…what if… Your body
interprets this as a relaxed, hopeful "posture, or a
defeated, hopeless attitude. It then "translates" that into
inner activities. You didn't have to speak a word: you just
read my words.

So I suggest that if you do a get a diagnosis of cancer, or
gallstones, or diabetes, you add one additional step to your
treatment regime. And that step is to MAKE a decision as to
what will be your mental attitude.

And once you make that decision, announce to everyone that
you are now part of your "treatment team"…along with doctor,
and medical support. And PLAN for the positive outcome.

Yes, there will be some unpleasant times as you go through
this experience. However, your choice determines the
outcome. Negative thoughts drag your down and backward
...positive thoughts will propel you forward.

So your personal plan should be to choose positive,
supportive thoughts, avoid negative people, and fill your
tummy with optimum nutrition…and that should really include
nutritional supplementation.

This is not holistic, alternative medicine. This is common
sense. It makes excellent use of your (under-utilised) mind,
and a tremendous way to give hope to many others who haven't
your courage.

Yes cancer can be beaten. We have many cases that
demonstrate that even the worst prognosis can be overcome.
And this is how you start. Doctors would love you to have a
positive hopeful attitude…they hate it when their patients
give up and don't fight to get better.

They LOOK good and you will BE better!

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

<><><><>

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.

The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to
http://www.the-pebble.com OR order yours from
your favorite bookstore. ISBN # 1-4137-4723-X

As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"So, kids, I'm going to visit Riata in China
but I don't want to go first. I want each of you
to get there before Mr. Sam and I. I want you to
exercise your abilities. Remember you will never
be lost. You can always home in on Mr. Sam and I,
or the village or on something else you know. You
will never be lost. Each of you make a decision as
to what method you will use and then leave for the
orphanage. When you are all gone, Mr. Sam and I
will then come to be with you."

Within less than two minutes all the children
were gone. None of them expressed any worry or
concern and strode forward with the confidence
that accompanies youth. Both Sam and Mazunta
looked at one another and smiled. "Oh to have the
faith and trust of a child!" Sam laughed. "We best
be on our way or they will think we got lost."

With that the two men disappeared and
reappeared in China at the orphanage.

Every one of the kids was there. Not one got
tripped up along the way.

"Hello you two. My you have had some growth in
learning and expertise in your village haven't
you?"

"Hello, Mae, Susan. How are you two. Yes we
thought it was time to have the kids do as they
have been taught. It's terrific. They have caught
on like it was the only natural way to live."

"We were away, but some of them gave us a call
and we came back here immediately. It is always
thrilling to participate in this kind of event,
Sam Henry. Tell us how are you, Alewka, the family
and the rest of the village?"

"All is well Mae. All is well, thank you. I'll
tell Alewka you enquired. If you excuse me,
ladies, I see my son over there. I haven't seen
him for weeks. I'm going over to say hi."

"We'll talk later, Sam. Go ahead."

The ladies went over to speak with Mazunta
while Sam walked up to Tim. He was with Tlang, of
course, and the pair of them were still so much in
love they didn't even see him coming. "Hello you
two. What are you guys up to?"

"Oh, hi Dad, How are you?"

"I'm fine, Son. And you? Hello Tlang, how are
you young lady. Are you keeping this rascal well
mannered and disciplined?"

Tlang laughed. "Yes, Mr. Henry. I am. He's a
tough one though. I think he takes after you. He's
always teasing me like I see you teasing Mrs.
Henry."

This young woman was so sweet and loving Sam
was compelled to walk up to her and give her a
hug. "You just keep him on his toes. He needs a
good woman to control him."

Tlang laughed again. "You see, Tim, now I even
have instructions to keep you in line. You best
listen for now I have allies."

"Daaaaaad! Why did you go do that? Now it will
take me months to get her whipped back into
shape!"

They all laughed. "It's good to see you Dad.
How's Mom?"

"She's fine, Son. She's fine. Why don't you
two come see us once in a while? We miss you
both."

"We have two reasons for that, Dad. The first
is that we've been pretty busy around here at the
orphanage. And the second thing is I tuned in to
you several times in the last while, thinking we
should get to see you, but I found you all over
the place, everywhere but home. You've been busy
your own self."

"Yes, a bit, but don't let that deter your
visit. Both your Mom and I miss you, and we want
to see more of Tlang."

"Thank you Mr. Henry. I have been learning all
there is to know about higher law. I know I will
never get to the end of it but Tim has been
showing me how to use it. I guess that is what you
are doing with the kids that just arrived, right?"

"You got it, Tlang. That is exactly what we
are doing. In bringing them here we thought it
might inspire some of the kids here. I imagine
some are getting pretty close to making a final
decision."

"Yes they are, Mr. Henry. How are you?"

Riata had walked over in this direction the
moment she spotted Sam. She put her arms around
him and gave him a big hug. "It is good to see
you. What brought you here of all places?"

"We were training the kids in the use of
higher law. They each made the final decision to
step over the veil and now we are showing them the
things they can do. We stopped here because we
thought it might be inspirational for some, if
not all your kids."

"You bet it will. I would imagine we'll be
seeing you at the village, or at Mom and Dad's
place, in the next little while. Many of our
orphans are ready to take that step. So, did you
bring the kids, or did they come on their own?"

TOMORROW - - - The trip

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

WHY DO WE SAY IT?

Naked Truth: Why do we call absolute truth "the naked
truth"?

Because, according to ancient legend, Truth and Falsehood
once went bathing. When they came out of the water,
Falsehood ran ahead, dressed herself in Truth's clothing and
sped away. Truth, unwilling to appear in Falsehood's
clothing, went "naked".

HA! HA! HA!

A city boy, Kenny, moved to the country and bought a donkey
from an old farmer for $100.00. The farmer agreed to deliver
the donkey the next day. The next day the farmer drove up
and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the donkey
died."

Kenny replied, "Well then, just give me my money back."

The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it
already."

Kenny said, "OK then, just unload the donkey."

The farmer asked, "What ya goanna do with him?"

Kenny, "I'm going to raffle him off."

Farmer, " You can't raffle off a dead donkey!"

Kenny, "Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he
is dead."

A month later the farmer met up with Kenny and asked, "What
happened with that dead donkey?"

Kenny, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars
apiece and made a profit of $898.00."

Farmer, "Didn't anyone complain?"

Kenny, " Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars
back."

Kenny grew up and eventually became the chairman of Enron.
