3.5 Tips To Help You Avoid Becoming
The Next Search Engine Outlaw

Want to avoid being blacklisted by the search engines
and banished to the sin bin never to receive a single
search engine visitor ever again? Thought so. Here's
some tips to help you..
Tip 1 - Hide And Seek
Do not use hidden text on your website. This means
having words and phrases in your pages somewhere
that can't be seen to the naked eye. The tactic of having
text on your page that is the same colour as the
background, and is therefore 'hidden', will almost
certainly result in your wanted poster being pinned
up by most search engines.
Tip 2 - Your Website Is Not A Turkey
Do not cram your hands full of keywords and phrases
and start trying to stuff them into your website's... pages.
You need to have some phrases in there, yes, but don't
overdo it. The search engine owners spend millions
every year on their software so guess what - they know
when you're trying to beat the system!
Tip 3 - Man vs. The Machines
Do not build your website for the search engine robots -
build it for those squishy pink things - human beings! If
you focus too much on having a search engine optimized
site you can quickly lose track of why your website is
there in the first place - to generate you business by
people visiting it and doing what you want them to do.
Would you create a new reception area in your office
that was tailored specifically to the floor-waxing machine
so it could get the best access? No. You would build it
for people - do the same with your website.
Tip 3.5 - Don't Be A Bunny Boiler
Do not start pinning up pictures in your dark room of
each search engine and then start stalking them by
submitting your website every day, week or even month.
Search engines hate this - if you over-step the mark you'll
be well on the way to that blacklist.. You only need to
submit your website to most search engines just one
time - ever. Once it's done, it's done. Despite what
some 'experts' might tell you - you don't need to
constantly re-submit your site.

Compressed Zip files are treated as compressed
folders in Windows XP. To add files to a compressed
folder, select the files, right-click, and choose Send To,
Compressed (zipped) Folder. The Zip file appears as
a manila file folder icon with a zipper on it. To copy
and decompress files, right-click the compressed
folder icon and choose Extract All.
Caution: If you install a third-party Zip program, the
"compressed folders" feature disappears. You'll need
to use your third-party program to manage Zip files.

Eventually I hung up on a very happy, hopeful,
re-energized Sandy. She was already planning a
visit to her local coffee shop where she would
treat herself to an hour away from her
responsibilities.
So I would like to ask you, my reader, if you,
too, are following your own agenda or does it seem
like someone else's. Are you fighting yourself at
work or at home? Can you see yourself happily
following your present career path for the next
ten years or more?
Could you, like Sandy, book some private time? You
could document thoughts and possibilities. Or are
you like I was...completely and utterly stymied as
to how I could possibly move toward my own goals.
After all I was needed here ("indispensable") and
saw myself as the person doing everything. (And in
my job, I had resentment for some things I had to
do.) I felt people expected me to do everything,
without complaining. But that's not why we are
here in this life. BUT nothing changes till you
ask yourself some very disturbing questions. And
can face the ideas that come to mind. That takes
courage.
When your perception changes and you start to
anticipate one small miracle, everything changes.
When you realise you can do something different
and it doesn't require walking away from your
present responsibilities, your whole world
suddenly brightens! And your anticipation level
jumps! Hope come back. All it takes is a little
shift in thinking. Yes it's hard to believe this
could happen. You convince yourself you are stuck
in your daily routines and can't see any way out.
Believe me, you aren't stuck for real: just stuck
for ideas.

The pair of them replied at the same time in
as humble a manner as Sharon had ever heard.
"Yes."
"I know what the church has told you about the
Henry's. I know you think they may be evil. You
have not been there and you are acting on second
hand knowledge. I have been there and had a
wonderful time. I have first hand knowledge.
Further, as I told you I was there when the former
police chief Mr. Striker was there along with his
wife. I know the Henry's to be doing work no one
else in town knows about, but that does not make
it wrong. I don't know where this thing with Tim
and I will go. I hope it lasts forever, but I do
know I will be seeing him again. I want to bring
him home to meet you so you can see and judge for
yourselves. I am sure he will enter into a
complete, open and honest conversation with you
about what he and his family do. I am asking for
your trust, your endorsement, your cooperation. I
can assure you I will do nothing that will in any
way harm myself or you, and I will be vigilant,
on the look out for anything that will do that.
Can I have your permission to see him?" Sharon
spoke with calm resolve. She was firm, soft spoken
and caring.
Her parents could see she had changed. They
felt they were in no position to make any further
demands on her. They were, truthfully, not sure
about the Henrys. They knew what the church had
taught but this news that the Strikers were also
there and friends with the Henrys, and also lived
by higher law somehow changed the thrust of their
beliefs. It was her father who spoke first.
Humbly he said "Yes, Sharon. You have my
permission. There is a 'but'. I want no harm to
come to you. I want you to be on your toes in case
they try something funny. They might you know. I
don't think they will, honey, but as your father I
only want you to be careful. Having what's his
name, Tim? Having Tim here might be a good idea.
That way we can see him, talk with him and relay
our concerns."
"I will ask him Daddy. Thank you. How about
you Mom?"
"I will go with what your father has said,
Sharon. Just be sure of what you are getting
into."
Sharon got off her chair and went over to her
father. She hugged him and gave him a kiss on the
cheek, whispering into his ear "I love you Daddy."
He reached up and took his daughter's arm in
one hand and squeezed it in response.
Then she went over to her mother and did the
same.
The "war" was over. Sharon's folks weren't
quite sure what had just happened but having a
reconciliation made was important to them, and
relieving.
"Sharon, what is it you see in this Tim?"
"Daddy, he wonderful. He's sweet, kind and
generous. He cares about people, and I think he is
falling in love with me. I like him very much. I
haven't felt like this with any other guy. He's
just wonderful Daddy."
Her father looked over at her mother with a
knowing look in his eye. He knew there was about
to be another man in his daughters life.
Sharon excused herself, and went to her room.
She was excited to the point where she could
hardly contain herself. She had not expected such
immediate results for her efforts at controlling
herself and expressing love. Now she had the green
light to developing her relationship with Tim.
That relationship was not so exciting as the fact
that she had learned a new way to deal with people
that had just proven to be very effective. "Wow!"
she thought, "What's next?"
She tried to calm down. This was exciting and
she found it hard to control herself. She knew Tim
was the only person she could speak with about
this for he would be one of the only ones who
understood. She also knew she would have to get
herself under control, that this excitement was
new and she would lose ground if she didn't get it
under control.
She sobered up and then began to settle. She
thought of Tim. "Tim, I spoke with my parents and
they said it was okay to see you. They want you to
come over so they can talk with you. I can't
believe it."
She got thoughts back, "That's good. I'll come
over one day when we can all sit and talk."
"Wow! I never expected to be able to talk with
my parents and be so effective. I thought they
just wanted to control me. I guess I didn't look
at things the right way. Their intentions were at
least concerned over my welfare. I know that, but
now they have treated me as if I am mature and
able to make my own decisions."
"You are Sharon. You changed this night. You
are no longer the child they thought they saw
earlier. You are now a young woman of whom they are
proud. When you conduct yourself as an adult they
react to you as if you are an adult. It is all
part of the law."
