Move over, Google Sidebar
A Chicago-based company is set to launch technology that
will compete with Google Desktop Search and its Sidebar
customization feature.
Watson 2.0, to be launched on Friday by Intellext, is
designed to understand the context of the text a computer
user is reading or creating and automatically offer relevant
news articles, Word documents and other Web- or PC-based
information--without the privacy concerns Google's service
has raised--and in real time.
The context-sensitive Windows search tool is based on
technology developed at Northwestern University.
"Nothing gets sent to our servers," as with Google's Sidebar
service, said Al Wasserberger, chief executive of Intellext.
(People using Sidebar only get the customized news and other
feeds if they opt in to sending information to Google
servers about what documents and Web pages are being
viewed.)
"Watson 2.0 uses an artificial-intelligence approach to
understand what you are working on and formulate queries,"
he said. "It sends the queries to the online (information)
sources and compares the results against the document you
are working on and then sorts (the results) according to

Like Google's Desktop Search and Sidebar, the software
scours data from a variety of sources on the computer, Word
documents, e-mail, spreadsheets, and from Web sites,
including news sources and blogs, but it offers up relevant
information in real time rather than learning over time, as
Sidebar seems to do.
Watson 2.0's side-pane interface does not squeeze in other
information, such as a scratch pad, photos, quick-view
history and weather, that Google's Sidebar offers, but it
does take up a tad bit more real estate, or space on the
screen, with the results it does offer.
Watson 2.0 also allows the user to add and modify the
information sources being searched.

Basically I now had a list I could conceivably take to my
doctor and ask for their opinion. When you do this kind of
research you come across ideological squabbling in the
health community. So it is quite difficult to find answers
that you can trust. In one site I found references to
“closet chelation” done by doctors for themselves or their
families. As I know this to be true in the use of
nutritional supplements, I am now wondering how effective
this procedure is. Could it be more useful than I am led to
believe?
There are quite a few references to costs and comparisons
and financial gains. So the issue is very clouded for me. I
am sharing this as I find it, so please don’t use this for
any kind of advice. There isn’t any. These are just my
thoughts, and as I am able to do quite a bit of detailed
research and understand probably a little more in the health
field, I felt it might be of interest to you.

The men knew they were coming, and actually
suspected the girls were up to something, but as
no one had organized anything before they did not
suspect what would happen next.
The gals as if all one brought the water out
from behind them and threw it at the men in such a
way that not one of the men escaped.
Suddenly there was hollering, screaming,
running, laughing, yelps, more hollers. The entire
village came awake and watched the antics. The
kids thought that was a great idea and grabbed
some more containers.
The first thing you knew there was a complete
melee in the village. Everyone got into it. There
was water throwing from both sides. Everyone was
soaked. The ground was getting slippery and people
were falling into it. It was a fun party that
included all the adults and all the kids. All were
laughing, screaming, hollering, trying to grab one
another. Before long no one knew who started it
and all were getting tired out.
Wow! What an event. It was one of those
spontaneous situations that enveloped all. Even
Sien was wet and mud from stem to stern. The
laughter, the joy, the camaraderie, the love the
care and respect all had for one another made this
a free for all that was a fantastic memory. No one
in the village had ever seen such a thing.
Mazunta reached down to take hold of Eloise's
hand to help her up. In the pulling he slipped in
the mud and fell flat on his back. Eloise was
right behind him, dumped unceremoniously onto her
butt by the slippery mud.
The kids came running over to be with their
folks and they couldn't stop. As they tried they,
too, slipped and fell onto their backs, then slid
right into their Mother. All were laughing.
Wisdom allowed them to make the decision to
crawl out of the mud on their hands and knees.
Once on the dry grass they were able to stand.
All of them were puffed out and laughing. That
was a fun experience.
"Goodness, look at you, all of you. What a
mess. You're mud from head to toe." Eloise, the
Mother coming back to some level of sensibility
appeared almost shocked at the sight of her
family.
Someone walked up to her, a woman. Until
Alewka spoke Eloise didn't even recognize her.
Alewka had mud throughout her hair and none of her
clothes were recognizable. That's what everyone
else looked like, too.
Wow! What a party. Folks everywhere were still
in the thick of it.
Slowly, and carefully, people began to
gravitate toward solid ground. All were happy,
laughing and filled with joy and love. This
impromptu hour became the high spot of the day.
Those who lived by higher law offered to
render others clean and dry. All accepted.
As the water fight/mud fight was held in the
fire circle Mazunta also ensured it was dry.
Everyone was going to go home, have supper, and
then reappear at the community fire that night.
Everyone that had been in the mud had been
instantly cleaned by those who lived by higher
law. That is to say, everyone but Boolong. He,
alone, was left muddy, and as you might expect he
was the muddiest of all.
Sien had placed a shield around him to prevent
others from cleaning him.
He was standing there, the one person left to
be cleaned. His Mother looked at him and in that
instant knew what was happening. His Father, too,
knew what was going to happen. The pair of them
had tears in their eyes.
"Clean yourself right where you stand and do
it this instant." The command came loud, clear and
demanding. There was no doubt what Boolong had to
do.
But how was he to do it? There was no water,
no towels or rags with which to clean himself. His
feet seemed to be planted into the ground itself.
What was he to do?
Sien spoke, softly. "There are some here who
would see themselves as perfectly clean, dry and
happy. They would believe they were and know that
by the laws of their Maker that new condition was
a fact. You, too, can do that this instant." Sien
was giving Boolong permission to use higher law.
Boolong looked Sien right in the eye. "Yes,
son, that's right. You can do it and now is the
time. Close your eyes and see yourself perfectly
clean and dressed in white pants and shirt. See
yourself as having a heart full of love. KNOW that
you have crossed the veil of simplicity and are
now a Master as is your Father." Those were the
thoughts Boolong received from Sien.
Boolong closed his eyes and saw the image he
wanted. Then more thoughts came in "Yes, son, now
walk as if this new condition was a perfectly
normal situation."
