Terrible, but true. In 1763, British troops, under orders
from Sir Jeffrey Amherst, intentionally gave Native
Americans blankets infected with smallpox. It was
biowarfare, plain and simple.
When was the first immunization for smallpox?
English physician Edward Jenner is famous for successfully
using cowpox germs to inoculate a boy from smallpox in 1796.
However, as far back as 1017, the Chinese had developed a
technique called "variolation" (the smallpox virus is also
called the variola virus). Variolation involved using the
germs from smallpox survivors with mild cases of the disease
to protect others from getting it.

Passing Judgment Is Not Your Business!
FBI agents conducted a raid of a psychiatric hospital that
was under investigation for medical insurance fraud.
After hours of reviewing thousands of medical records,
the dozens of agents had worked up quite an appetite.
The agent in charge of the investigation called a nearby
pizza parlor with delivery service to order a quick dinner
for his colleagues. The following telephone conversation
took place:
Agent: Hello. I would like to order 19 large pizzas and
67 cans of soda.
Pizza Man: And where would you like them delivered?
Agent: We're over at the psychiatric hospital.
Pizza Man: The psychiatric hospital?
Agent: That's right. I'm an FBI agent.
Pizza Man: You're an FBI agent?
Agent: That's correct. Just about everybody here is.
Pizza Man: And you're at the psychiatric hospital?
Agent: That's correct. And make sure you don't go through
the front doors. We have them locked. You will have to go
around to the back to the service entrance to deliver the
pizzas.
Pizza Man: And you say you're all FBI agents?
Agent: That's right. How soon can you have them here?
Pizza Man: And everyone at the psychiatric hospital is
an FBI agent?
Agent: That's right. We've been here all day and we're
starving.
Pizza Man: How are you going to pay for all of this?
Agent: I have my checkbook right here.
Pizza Man: And you're all FBI agents?
Agent: That's right. Everyone here is an FBI agent. Can
you remember to bring the pizzas and sodas to the service
entrance in the rear? We have the front doors locked.
Pizza Man: I don't think so.

I presume that had you or I been on the Pizza Man's
end of the phone our reaction would have been similar.
After all look at the information he had at hand. Yet,
we should look further.
The joke does not allow us to hear the clarity, the timbre,
the authority that would have been in the FBI Agent's
voice. And there would be other clues, as well, in a
real life occurrence.
It points out, though, how we are all prone to making
judgment on others. There are a myriad of things the
Pizza Man could have done to verify the validity of the
caller, but he had already the doubt of judgment
clouding his vision.
How many times do you get into that position, especially
with children. How many times are you caught up in
conversation where you sense or feel someone is lying
or that the circumstances don't appear true?
What do you do then? You are immediately visited by
the longing to pass judgment, aren't you?
Observe, watch, inquire. Reserve judgment until you
know. Look not through the veil of a judgment that is
premature and based only on circumstantial evidence.
Probe until the details reveal themselves.
The joke shows us, too, that passing judgment based
on circumstantial evidence can cost us a sale, a
privilege, a goal.

So many times we would flourish if we followed that small
voice within rather than barge through according to thoughts
and emotions available to our consciousness. Our intuition

As you might suspect there can be any number of areas
and reasons where you can encounter problems. The
valves could get stuck or allow backflow or have a
leak. The muscle itself could be weak from lack of
oxygen, too much carbon dioxide, too many chemicals,
infections, or inadequate nutrition. Some part of it
could be dead from a blockage (heart attack). If we go
back to the original comment this patient got from the
doctor, it mentioned she had a problem with “the apex”.
That would be the “top” of the heart. It could mean
either left or right atrium. And if you are told the
“the bottom left”, it would most likely refer to
something in the left ventricle…or could that be the
right ventricle. Can you see how you really have
nothing definite to go on? But my other concern is:
what is she supposed to do with this inadequate
information? Worry? About what? There needs to be much
more intelligent discussion and clarification. The
sooner you can walk out of your doctor’s office knowing
what is going on, the sooner you will be in control of
your health. Isn’t that the entire goal? You may not
like what is going on, but at least you have asked some
appropriate questions and had some clarification.
Now let’s discuss how you do find out what you might
want to know. That involves taking your courage into
your “hands” and asking for clarification. It’s very
hard to do, but you have to learn and the sooner you
do, the sooner you will be in control of yourself. Let
me encourage you to learn to become stronger, to become
one who respects your health and your courage. And
then proceeds to protect both at all costs. You have
been born with this body. It’s the only one you will
have.

Well I see we now have a "superbug" let loose. The World
Health Organization has identified a strain of TB that is
not treatable by any drug presently available. That is to
say it is immune to most of the drugs used in treating TB.
Further, those with HIV are at particular risk. There have
been cases in South Africa where a patient with HIV
contracting this particular TB bug have died within 25 days.
So this little critter is not a nice bug. The WHO (World
Health Organization) is naturally doing all it can to
identify and fight this new version of TB, but makes it
plain this bug was literally "developed" by man. What
happened was that some of those with TB did not take all
their drugs or take them when they were supposed to. The
result was that TB within their bodies had the opportunity
to develop immunity to the drugs. Now this variety is
spreading world wide, with cases in nearly every country.
On another front there is a region in China where lead
poisoning is taking out the population. Well, to be more
conservative there are the majority of people in a village
that have contracted lead poisoning because of a polluting
factory. The condition is serious and I suspect a forerunner
of similar conditions within China. This government has the
worst record of all nations concerning legislating "clean
air".
So all in all we are right on track folks. The world is
speeding headlong on a path that seeks the dollar or "more"
and it looks like they don't care who they kill in the
process. This statement covers all countries and peoples
folks. None are exempt. Everybody wants riches, power and
control. While there are those in the world who genuinely
care about these conditions they are clearly outranked and
outnumbered by those who only want power and money.
It's like the old 80/20 rule. There are 20 percent who are
the grabbers/takers and they run the rest of us. Within that
80 percent there are many in positions where they can cause
effective and positive change who say they can't because of
"policy" or because of "rules" or because they will lose
their jobs. It is just that fear that permits the greedy to
rule and in the ruling, destroy our world.
I am not anti evolution, growth, change or progress. I am
anti greed, anti "win at all costs no matter who it hurts or
what happens to future generations" thinking. And I am
against rule by fear. I see no reason people have to be
manipulated by fear. I see no reason why governments have to
"spin" stories to gain ground. I see no reason why
governments have to spread fear that some within the
government can gain greater power.
I am in favor of peace. I am in favor of all people enjoying
peace of mind, peace with their neighbor, their government
and their world. That is the choice of each individual. None
but the individual can make that choice.
Remember, the choice for peace is yours. It is exclusively
under your control and can be affected by no one unless you
permit it. Fear not what is going on around you. Seek only
the peace within you.
Peace and prosperity can be yours right where you are. That
